Or better yet, how different would it be if you could discuss politics based on actually issues, without dragging religion or personal insults into it.. Almost makes you wish there was a "No Americans allowed" section..😷

In theory it might be friendlier, though I don’t know how you could enforce it, or even define where politics ends and other things begin. When politics is actually discussed, it’s very enjoyable. Too often there’s no discussion, just unsupported assertion.

There are too many people shoving their heads in the sand as it is. Its time to wake up and see why that is not a good idea.

Right now every non-political question is twenty-somethings whining about how hard they apparently have it.

Sadly governance from those doing it or those aspiring to do it is what occupies people's minds more than any other subject

It would not work because politics (at least for me) is tied up with values. Sometimes those values can change, if given new information, but when they are core values, there is no changing them, and if you censor speech and expression of one’s values, you are in essence extinguishing the person.

We are free not to discuss politics here.
