Not all Russian males are rapists. But every Russian male in the military knows what is happening in Ukraine - and they've done NOTHING to stop the rapes. NOTHING. So f*ck the whole lot of them!

I am in COMPLETE favor of a LIFETIME ban for all Russian males who have/are/will serve in the Russian military while Russia has/is occupying even a sliver of Ukranian territory.

LIFETIME. Not even a Visa for a vacation. Don't care if they have family here or not, either. Don't care if their wife or kids want to emigrate. I don't even care if they want to defect.

I'm a man. I haven't done anything to stop the Russian invasion of Ukraine; I've just been sitting on my ass in America. Should I be banned for life too?
@Baremine thats hot
BlueVeins · 22-25
@orioninthenight You're a douchebag.
@BlueVeins you take yourself entirely too seriously

I'm not really into collective punishment.

I wouldn't, for example, ban IDF soldiers who've served in Gaza either.
inaccessible · 51-55, M
@Burnley123
Honestly, even though I'm anti-israel, i wouldn't support any punishment for Israeli soldiers, those soldiers put their lives on the line for their country, however i would seek punishment for the pilots who killed 18,000 in 60 days including almost 8000 child from the cofort of his jet fighter ejection seat.
@inaccessible The pilots aren't the guilty parties, though... they are likely carrying out orders - orders that had their origins somewhere within the government.

And, as far as crimes go... aren't the US and UK supplying the means to enable Israel to be bombing hospitals in the first place??? So... do we strip American citizens and British citizens of their citizenship and make huge swathes of our own populations stateless???
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 We didn't discriminate against the Germans after WW2. A lot of the Germans that were held here as POW's decided to stay here. And many more emigrated from Germany after the war.
Just because you were a soldier does not make you a war criminal.

I believe anyone that is from hostile countries should be thoroughly background checked. Asylum seekers and all. We can only enforce the laws on the citizens we already have. I think we should give a short term of time for the noncitizens to become citizens or they forfeit all that they accumulated here and put on a thirty day visa or finish the visa’s they have left. If they miss their deadline then they can wait anywhere they want except the US while they apply for longer visa’s or citizenship. This only applies to hostile to US countries.

Wandering if this sounds too much.
Maybe tone it down a little?
Take National Security a little less lightly?
What about Russian females who have served in the military? What have they done to stop rapes?
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
No.. They are conscripts. Its not their fault..😷
@whowasthatmaskedman Honestly, this comment 👆

Seriously, now adays no one cares about the "crimes" of Russia or the victims in Ukraine since Israel killed more Palestinian civilians in 2 months than what both Ukraine and Russia killed in 2 years.
Ps: Russia invaded and claimed territories and is killing to keep the territories and eliminate what she calls "Nazi terrorists" ...it's the exact act and claims from Israel since 1967.

@DallasCowboysFan
No, not quite, for Gaza, your numbers are aoutdated and for Ukraine is exaggerated comparing to ocha and ohchr reports. That happens when all the news media is just paid propaganda.

chek this as an example for how they lie and get away with it

@inaccessible It's hard to know what to believe anymore, I guess.
The biggest disappointment is the fact that our govt and our press is so involved with it.
inaccessible · 51-55, M
@DallasCowboysFan
I guess no one can disagree with that.
Baremine · 70-79, C
I agree with you 100%. There comes a time when men even in the military need to say enough is enough. But those values are taught when they are young. Sadly they aren't taught anymore. Your dream for this country and mine is mostly the same. We don't agree on the leadership most of the time but we agree on the dream.
calicuz · 51-55, M
They are accusing Hamas of doing the same thing........................... does anyone else see a trend here? 🙄
calicuz · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234

What is the source of these accusations? Is it the same Liberal Press that says Trump is guilty?
Jenny1234 · 51-55, F
@calicuz you’re an ignorant loser
calicuz · 51-55, M
@Jenny1234

I'm less ignorant than you care to admit, and I'm not a Trump supporter.
Elessar · 26-30, M
Lots of Russian women aren't any better; rather not being themselves drafted, they're often even more supportive of the war than their men counterpart.
@Elessar Hasn't Trump bought a couple wives from Russia?
Why is it that rape is a common theme of every war???
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@HootyTheNightOwl I don't know.

I'd speculate that it's a result of toxic masculinity mixed with the psychology of war. Soldiers are deliberately trained to be uncaring killing machines.

In fact, war encourages sadism and a mentality that dehumanised enemies. Where the masculinity thing comes in is in the primitive urge to dominate another people. Not for nothing does the word 'f**k,'mean to have sex with someone and to screw someone over.

It also relates to the objectification of women as a 'prize' for the victors. Sex is power and this is the ugliest demonstration of that.
DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
@Burnley123 @dubkebab. Read: After The Reich, or A Woman in Berlin by Anonymous. It documents the events that occurred in Berlin and the occupied territories immediately after the war ended. 95-98 percent of the women in Berlin were raped, within the first few days after the Russians entered, when the war ended. About ten percent of the women committed suicide within 90 days after the war ended. And the Russians raped most of the women between Russia and Berlin, along the way. It was not pretty.

Men were rounded up on the streets and sent back to Russia to serve time in internment camps or to rebuild damaged cities. Most of them died in Russia and never returned.

But Russians consider rape as a tool to control the population and in some circles, as a reward for the conquering soldiers. The books ^ are really good. Especially the first one, very eye opening and depressing.
dubkebab · 51-55, M
@DallasCowboysFan I've read 'a woman in berlin' several times-shudder. A chapter in history I'd hoped we learned from.
walabby · 61-69, M
The only exception might be the ones that voluntarily surrendered to Ukraine, rather than just be captured...
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@walabby If you were a Russian solder fighting in the Ukraine would you surrender to the Ukraine forces after what some Russians have done??😷
walabby · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman Who knows, but more than a few do surrender. Ukraine has a website called "Do you want to live", or some such, and it details how Russian soldiers can defect.
people talking about the "right" to enter the US....what about my "right" to enter and wander around Russia or China?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@orioninthenight since when is it a right to enter the USA? It is a privilege not a right.
@Baremine yea....that is exactly what I am saying
How about just rounding up all russians and kicking them out of the country?

@MarmeeMarch Why do you love Russia so much? Are you as anti American as you are pro Russian?

DallasCowboysFan · 61-69, M
No, it's hard to prevent the rapes if you are outnumbered.
The Russians are even killing their own people if they fail to fight or run when they are outnumbered.
But I would not worry about any of them coming there for vacation, I don't think very many can afford it.
of course they should, they are literally foreign combatants against NATO

in another scenario they would be on the wrong end of an ATGM on the back of a Bradley APC
Pfuzylogic · M
We have a whole company of Russians working on construction here and now! Who is to say they haven’t done time in the Russian Army before!
travelguy01 · 41-45, M
Right, those "immigration laws" will surely stop 'em.

Good thing nobody ever comes into this country undocumented huh.
