Not all Russian males are rapists. But every Russian male in the military knows what is happening in Ukraine - and they've done NOTHING to stop the rapes. NOTHING. So f*ck the whole lot of them!

I am in COMPLETE favor of a LIFETIME ban for all Russian males who have/are/will serve in the Russian military while Russia has/is occupying even a sliver of Ukranian territory.

LIFETIME. Not even a Visa for a vacation. Don't care if they have family here or not, either. Don't care if their wife or kids want to emigrate. I don't even care if they want to defect.

@HootyTheNightOwl Good point.
It's always been used as a semisecret weapon in war to truly demoralize the enemy.

@HootyTheNightOwl I don't know.

I'd speculate that it's a result of toxic masculinity mixed with the psychology of war. Soldiers are deliberately trained to be uncaring killing machines.

In fact, war encourages sadism and a mentality that dehumanised enemies. Where the masculinity thing comes in is in the primitive urge to dominate another people. Not for nothing does the word 'f**k,'mean to have sex with someone and to screw someone over.

It also relates to the objectification of women as a 'prize' for the victors. Sex is power and this is the ugliest demonstration of that.

@Burnley123 @dubkebab. Read: After The Reich, or A Woman in Berlin by Anonymous. It documents the events that occurred in Berlin and the occupied territories immediately after the war ended. 95-98 percent of the women in Berlin were raped, within the first few days after the Russians entered, when the war ended. About ten percent of the women committed suicide within 90 days after the war ended. And the Russians raped most of the women between Russia and Berlin, along the way. It was not pretty.

Men were rounded up on the streets and sent back to Russia to serve time in internment camps or to rebuild damaged cities. Most of them died in Russia and never returned.

But Russians consider rape as a tool to control the population and in some circles, as a reward for the conquering soldiers. The books ^ are really good. Especially the first one, very eye opening and depressing.

@DallasCowboysFan I've read 'a woman in berlin' several times-shudder. A chapter in history I'd hoped we learned from.
