People who work on a Sunday should be killed.
People who eat shellfish will go to hell.
People who wear clothes made of two different materials should be stoned to death.
Gluttons should have their head's chopped off.
And not very nice things will happen to Blasphemers..

But that's only if you read into it only what you want to read.

@Thevy29 There's a verse in the OT that gives the relative monetary values of men and women. Guess which sex is half the value of the other?

@SW-User Ah, I don't have a Bible, but I do know it can be read as people choose!

I think the bit about value is in Leviticus - we chanced to see by opening at random an enormous pulpit-sized copy in a second-hand market!

@ArishMell Not a book I dwell on, I suspect it has to be read in conjunction with Hebrews in the New Testament or St Matthews Gospel, which is the most Jewish.
