Why are republicans Christian, mean and stupid?

@WillieT they tried that in our town. It ended up with a 2 party community, the parties were just not named democrat and republican.

@samueltyler2 Likely still better than the current dung heap of hatred and division being foisted upon us, once we get beyond the years of conditioning.

@BritishFailedAesthetic No. Two other parties would, most likely, would only result in the same mess we have now, candidates that come from lives of wealth and privilege, without any real clue about the middle class, which is why the middle class is shrinking and wealth disparity growing.
What I am referring to is a consortium of individuals, the intelligent, the compassionate, the philosophers, selected from our own communities, who understand the struggles, working not for party platforms and agendas, but directly for the people. This, I believe, would tend to bring the nation together, rather than promote the current status quo of anger and division.
