Attorney General Merrick Garland just appointed David Weiss, US Attorney for the state of Delaware, as Special Counsel in the case of Robert Hunter

Biden. David Weiss was implicated by the IRS whistleblowers for slow walking their tax investigation.

What this does, is give David Weiss the ability to block Congress and THEIR investigation into Hunter Biden.
David Weiss can now slow walk the entire investigation until AFTER the next election, and can make the ultimate decision on whether or not to prosecute.

Time for a special counsel to be appointed to investigate Garland and Weiss?

Would 't those DOJ and administration officials who colluded to footdrag and extend beyond statues of limitations be obstructing justice?

It's looking more and more like Hunter Biden's status may be upgraded from tax cheat to evidence of even bigger crimes by DoJ and administration officials

Haa this is like a crook saying he plans to appoint another crook to investigate him.

Will congress get to approve the appointment?
daydeeo · 61-69, M
@Heartlander No. Didn't need Congressional approval. They can - and they'd better! - raise a huge stink over it though

A scam. Just like the supposed special counsel looking into Biden's thousands of classified documents. Two tier justice.

If I recall correctly, special councils must, by law, not be associated with the gubberment, but that will not stop meritless from pulling even more bullschiff to cover his boss, hunter's, ass

You enjoy litigation in America.

I hope it does not cross the pond.

More crooks in America, probably, than in Britain.

@Thinkerbell We get a lot of nonsense of celebrity court cases now.

@SW-User No one is enjoying this.

And in the meantime, Garland can pretend, "See, no one is above the law."
