Fun fact for you.

Albert einstein believed in socialism and wrote an article called "why socialism" in 1949 explaining his reasoning
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
So what you are saying is Einstein didn't learn from WW!! which was a war against socialism in all its evil.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@Guitarman123 Socialists like you have no end of denial. I don't have enough time to put up with your silliness. I'm done. You lost since you can't see that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck it is a duck. Socialism is a death cult. Sad that would be killers like you are too greedy to realize that there is no free lunch.

@hippyjoe1955 Socialism: defined a commitment to the common good of the nation/racial
community (the Volksgemeinschaft) above individuals and their profit. All
members of the racial community are valued, supported, and must contribute to it,
but they have different and unequal roles to play. Class differences are dismissed
as unimportant and international socialism (Marxism) is totally rejected.

• Anti-Socialist (Marxist): Nazism envisions a struggle to the death against
the “Jewish-Bolshevik conspiracy.”

The mightiest counterpart to the Aryan is represented by the Jew.
...The Jewish doctrine of Marxism rejects the aristocratic principle of Nature and
replaces the eternal privilege of power and strength by the mass of numbers and their
dead weight. Thus it denies the value of personality in man, contests the significance of
nationality and race, and thereby withdraws from humanity the premise of its existence
and its culture. As a foundation of the universe, this doctrine would bring about the end
of any order intellectually conceivable to man. And as, in this greatest of all recognizable
organisms, the result of an application of such a law could only be chaos, on earth it
could only be destruction for the inhabitants of this planet.
If, with the help of his Marxist creed, the Jew is victorious over the other peoples of the
world, his crown will be the funeral wreath of humanity and this planet will, as it did
thousands of years ago, move through the ether devoid of men.

@jshm2 hawking had a condition that stopped him from being able to do anything so that's just unfair. Einstein had a great understanding of capitalism and its exploitative nature and how it spreads selfishness
pianoplayingsteve · 31-35, M
@jshm2 hawking can’t control a physical condition that he couldn’t control, that has nothing to with him not learning how to do other things
@jshm2 Shockley would have been a better example than Hawking

Fauci wanna-be.

"I untangled the problem of time relativity."

"Ooh... Yeah, do you support free healthcare?"
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@Graylight anyone with a brain supports free healthcare
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Guitarman123 Which is why Einstein rocks. He would support it, too.

Yes, tying the quality and amount of one's healthcare to the employment they were able to secure is ridiculous.

Was this before, or after, he wrote a letter to FDR explaining how a nuclear bomb could be made?
Theyitis · 36-40, M
@SusanInFlorida I’m not defending Truman’s use of the nuclear bomb, but in theory there were potentially some situations where it could have done more good than harm. Einstein’s not a bad guy just because he explained to the president how to make one.
