Only parents should be able to teach their children sexual education.

I was looking this subject up on the internet the other day and it seems they are teaching this stuff in schools now.
I then used google to search up news on the subject.
I then did more research online about the how trans activists are controlling what they teach in schools now.
Its so much better now with the internet, I can find out about anything.

Id better go and get my grankids off thier ipads to come and eat lunch. They keep talking about discord, Id better search that term up online.

This has been one of my most interesting posts.
No one seems to realise that the internet exists and kids use it a lot. Parents and teachers are kind of irrelevant.
We have to teach kids online saftey and sex ed ASAP
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@MyRightWingParodyAccount I did say the teens and kids should have a line they can call that's meant for sexED questions.
@Queendragonfly honestly I think the situation is shitty.
But I cant understand the denial of it. I dont think its helping anyone.
I remember being a kid and what we talked about when parents wernt around🤷‍♀️. Add in access to google and thats where we are now🤷‍♀️

My parents as in my mom who didn't wanna buy condoms for me when I was 15 because it was "embarrassing"?

Yeah I rather would had have any random person educate me as a teen than her. Thankfully my big sister was more mature than my mom. She supported me through puberty and all.

I don't think most parents are fit for this job. Rather have it as an obligatory school subject. And a number where teens can call if they are having questions or unsure about things. Parents aren't professionals.

@Queendragonfly I was in Junior High School in Canada in the early 1970's and they had the school nurse teaching sex ed which made a lot of sense, it was very clinical but it taught us what was what and what the consequences of our actions could be.
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout not hitting on the kids, informing them.
@Roundandroundwego
Translation. Adults aren’t listening.. we need mailable minds…
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout sex education and health are related. Teachers know that. That's why we made Health Class a thing, with sex education in it. So, when you prefer to screw with the education system than to have good results, you're great again.

i assume you're trying to troll but what you said is not wrong. Parents are the only ones who should teach their children this
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MyRightWingParodyAccount are you a parent? it aint hard to prevent your child from this type of thing. I done it myself and it is not complicated like you are trying to make it out to be.

Teach children about sex when they are 5?
why is it you all are so obsessed with trying to talk to children about sex? sounds like some people have some serious sick issues
Torsten · 36-40, M
@MyRightWingParodyAccount for a right wing troll account, you're not doing a good job of it.
@Torsten

Teach children about sex when they are 5?

Yes. Teach them young. Why?
Because it protects kids from predators.
Teaching kids about what sex is, what is and is not a sexual contact and the real names of their body parts is shown to help children avoid being abused or communicate that they are being abused.
I understand that it's an uncomfortable subject and that "saving their innocence" tends to be the underlying sentiment but the fact is that this attitude does not help children. It does not protect children. If makes adults feel more comfortable and it enables adult predators.
I disagree. Plenty of parents no nothing about sex education
Except most parents are either to embarrassed or too busy to teach their kids about the birds and bees. So most kids get their sex education from the internet or their friends (who probably got it from the internet....)

When my son got his first girlfriend, I drew him aside and had a short but concise biological lesson and then we went to get him condoms. (The first drug store we went to... as we stood in front of the display I turned to him and said "they don't have your size." He looked astonished and said "they come in different sizes?" I said "yeah, and they appear to be all out of SMALL")

I had waited 15 years to tell him that......

Sadly now, kids are starting to have sex as young as 12 years old. A friend of mine is a Principal at a fairly large middle school and she told me that a couple of the 12 year old girls got pregnant recently. So let's not teach kids that age sex-ed, by all means, let's see how many of them get pregnant by year's end. I realize this is a parody but the reality is pretty sad...
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@spjennifer That's hardly something new. Forty years ago my wife was teaching middle school and had 7th and 8th graders who were sexually active.
spjennifer · 61-69, T
@ChipmunkErnie But according to many Repugs, we mustn't teach kids sex ed until they're at least 16, if ever...
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
I would like to teach my children about this thanks
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Hell NO! Kids should learn about sex out on the streets like we did in the good old days!!
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Right!

Let's go back to the 1950s & 60s where the parents were far to embarrassed, by their so called moral values, to even mention the word SEX!

BTW both my parents were exactly that type.
Queendragonfly · 31-35, F
@DeWayfarer My mom too.
Its in school the basic now a days but LGTBQA+ are influencing also .

Discord is a online game platform

If your embryo doesn't know how to use a condom you failed as a parent.
Really? The normal taboos make that horrible and creepy. Education specialists will just flee your community. As we should;
smiler2012 · 61-69
{@myrightwingparodyaccout] 😆 lol you seem to behind the times i am from the united kingdom and we had a sex education lesson when i was at third year of junior school
Yeah, everyone is having sex at 13 now.

I have the internet pretty locked down for my kids devices but there’s nothing I can do when it comes to other kids.

My son and nephew were at the park when they were 9 and there was another boy there who was 8 and had an iPhone and he was showing them porn on his iPhone.

His mother let him have an iPhone without blocking websites like that. Then I had to sit down and have a conversation with them about what they saw.

I also have no issue with them learning in school though 🤷🏼‍♀️.
