Wonder why those who claim to be "pro life" don't seem to want to make any attempts to stop mass school shootings

@Thevy29 Didn't Australia take everyones guns away ?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@Majorsite No. We banned Assault rifles and machine guns and some automatics. With required Police checks and a Firearms safety course completed before you can get a licence. With limitations on what type of gun you can buy depending on your need for one.

I don't know the full details, since I have never needed one.

There is or was a thing were the government offered a 'buy back' for people who wanted to turn their guns in with no questions asked.

This would seem very strict to most Americans, and some Americans would be quick to point out it hasn't stopped gun violence here but we haven't had a mass shooting ever since the new Gun laws came into place.

And on a morbid note. Whenever there is a mass shooting at a school in the America. People here in Australia turn in the firearms they had had since before the gun ban. Strangely, last year after the Uvalde Texas school shooting. hundreds of illegal guns were turned in including a bazooka.
