Does the talented Mr.Santos epitomise the make-believe politics of today's GOP ?

@RodionRomanovitch They have been for at least a generation, but it is getting worse. The direction of the party was clear from Pat Buchanon's naziesque speech at the 1992 Republican National Convention. I was waiting for the (white) delegates to get up and start Sieg Heiling. Follow that with Newt Gingrich as Speaker, who divorced his wife for a trophy version while she was dying of cancer in the hospital.

@windinhishair And Newt was doing this while going after Clinton for the Lewinsky affair. That’s what was mindblowing.

If you wanted to apply a little 'intellectual consistency' then you would admit that Santos' fantasies are in an entirely different league to any isolated examples that you can dredge up from the past. Of course you won't though because intellectual honesty is not really your thing.
