He’s an amateur. Joe Stupid was just discussing how he awarded a Purple Heart medal for his uncle (who had died five years before) he “appeared” at the White House for the award ceremony.

Joe has lots of memories about things that never happened.

@redredred lol ...... still , having a faulty memory isn't quite in the same league as being a fantasist.

@RodionRomanovitch Faulty memory? How’s yours? Did you forget about Joe Stupids history of plagiarism? Google Neal Kinnock and Joe Biden. Joe Stupid had to drop out of the 1988 presidential campaign due to his lies.

@redredred The post is about George Santos.

@RodionRomanovitch And any reply I choose to make us entirely up to me,

@redredred Knock yourself out.
@redredred If all Santos did was embellish his resume, big deal. His opponent didn’t conduct adequate oppo research. The real problem is if he concealed his criminal background and how he went from broke to near-millionaire status with a business that doesn’t exist.

Since Biden dropped out when his plagiarism of Kinnock was revealed, I’m sure your guy Santos will be resigning soon to prove that Republicans have at least the same standards as Democrats. Should I hold my breath?

@LeopoldBloom Incredibly , some of these issues were in fact identified by a small, conservative-friendly, paper (the North Shore Leader) covering his district.

They ran a couple of pieces identifying the dubiousness of his record and ultimately “reluctantly” endorsed his Democratic opponent. Some of the statements from that endorsement are withering…

“This newspaper would like to endorse a Republican,” it wrote, but Santos “is so bizarre, unprincipled and sketchy that we cannot. … He boasts like an insecure child — but he’s most likely just a fabulist — a fake.”
@RodionRomanovitch I heard about that. That paper's circulation is probably lower than the newsletter my homeowner's association puts out, but his opponent's team is guilty of political malpractice for not picking that up. I don't expect the DNC to go over every race with a fine tooth comb, but the Democrat running against him has no excuse.

@LeopoldBloom Joe Stupid wouldn’t have resigned if he’d won. BTW, Do you expect Ilhan Omar to resign since she lied about marrying her brother? How about Scumcunt Warren lying about being a Native American? When Bubba lied about screwing Monica, should he have resigned?

It’s not Whataboutism, it’s a question about intellectual consistency.

@redredred you mean Joe didn’t finish first in class with three degrees? It’s difficult to tell when he is fibbing and when it’s just his senility.
@redredred Of course Santos won't resign, and if I were advising him, I'd tell him to stay put. He's in a district that went for Biden by a few points, so he'd probably be replaced by a Democrat. If anything happens to Santos, it will be one of the legal issues he's now facing.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@redredred 'It’s not Whataboutism, it’s a question about intellectual consistency.'

haha ...... yeah , sure it is.

If you wanted to apply a little 'intellectual consistency' then you would admit that Santos' fantasies are in an entirely different league to any isolated examples that you can dredge up from the past. Of course you won't though because intellectual honesty is not really your thing.

@LeopoldBloom The lying little fucker still has a warrant out for him in Brazil , and the two countries have an extradition treaty.
@RodionRomanovitch That's what's going to bring him down. If all he did was pad his resume, that's unethical but not illegal.
