Doesn't matter, because this will be another Benghazi. At most it will show Biden is as crooked as a typical politician, and that his son is mostly a bumbling idiot with a drug problem.
You have to consider the source here. Trump has been a whining crybaby his whole life. He and his family have been under investigation and paid out settlements for being crooked for DECADES. Long before there was even talk of a Trump presidency. His defense has *always* been that it was someone else who is crooked - never him.

Put it another way - Bill Clinton was under investigation from day 1, and most especially from a very eager Republican Congress after 1994. We all knew he was a slimy politician. Yet, in the end, all they really came up with was that he got a b-l-o-w-j-o-b from an intern. Before that look at Reagan with that Iran Contra stuff. He was either involved, or he was an idiot. I think they played the idiot route, and nothing really came of it.
I suspect the same thing here. They will put the heat on Hunter, and in the end we get some harsh words, rebuke from investigators or special council for being careless, and then the 2024 election rolls around and it all goes away afterwards.

On his last day in office in 2001, Clinton agreed to a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license in order to head off any criminal charges for lying under oath about his relationship with Lewinsky. Clinton has been eligible to seek reinstatement of his license since 2006.
Shortly after Clinton's license was suspended in Arkansas, the U.S. Supreme Court suspended Clinton from presenting cases in front of the highest court.
In addition to agreeing to a five-year suspension of his Arkansas law license, Clinton accepted a $25,000 fine."
