Former Attorney General Bill Barr warned that his former boss, former President Donald Trump, “will burn down the GOP” and called “for new leadership.”
Barr functioned as Trump's personal attorney and protector while in office, not as Attorney General for the people. He long ago gave up his soul for Trump. He is trying to rehabilitate his reputation, even though he gave it away for nothing long ago. He will be forever remembered as one of the absolute worst AGs in history and a Trump enabler.
i am curious to see how Trump handles a serious competitor in his own party in DeSantis. I really dont see DeSantis backing down from Trump like alot of the others did.
@MayorOfCrushtown here is the problem. The way the primary system works is the most votes get the nomination. Donald Trump‘s base consists of the most votes.

The only guy out there who appeased and enabled Trump at every turn, and then did the public mea culpa shit, is Michael Cohen. He served time for what he did and accepted it. So when he says, "This is how it really works" I believe him. Barr? Pure self-preservation. One seriously slimy human being. Whatever he says is ONLY to serve himself in one way or another. Fuck that guy.
