@RubiesandButterflies I have family there.. Luckily outside the large cities.. Somehow the real urban areas seem to be getting it worse.,.,I wish you luck.. I wish I could say a change of government would help. But your problems are real..😷
It's impacting a lot of people UK wise right now (me included) including those on what are considered good incomes. Rising interest rates is hitting lots of people with mortgages for example.
Whilst a change in government is needed I can see it being a really tough few years ahead as the UK goes through recession and it seems austerity part 2 to deal with government incompetence.
I'm really sorry to hear about your situation. It sounds like you are doing all the right things to keep costs down. Hopefully things will improve in the UK soon.
Sounds very similar to the failings of government in the United States, but fear not…politicians know best. God help us! I hope your situation improves. And know this, you are not alone.
@Roundandroundwego The capitalist system is to blame to the extent that a more socialiat government might have developed more infrastructure sooner and had more supply available but how to fuel it is still an issue. Any solutions are long term.. The need is immediate..😷
Seems like the royals should sell off a few castles and pay some inheritance taxes ... it is disgraceful for this outlandishly obsolete cartoon family to live the high life while normal people suffer
