Thank you, California

Being back home for a few weeks has been like a breath of fresh air. The geography, the weather, the people. From the desert to L.A. up to Lake Tahoe, it’s a destination state and embodies health, logic and progression. And the agriculture…

Everywhere, eco-mandates and other programs are in effect, you can actually see cars plugged into electric chargers, you can hear parents discussing the difference between mollusks and invertebrates. And no camo like it’s the state color. It’s rationality and people just living their lives.

But it’s a freak state dragging down an otherwise nice nation, so don’t come visit. It’s a hell scape where people try to pull us down, so stay away. All you conservatives who’d rather point and laugh than lend a hand, who’d enjoy all the resources but still complain about the politics, who come with their carnival of election fraud…you’ll want to stay away. Leave out to the rest of us to maintain this paradi—— I mean, this portal to hell.

Your post is VERY convoluted,so Im not certain about the point you are trying to make.I think you are trying to use sarcasm to express your belief that California is a great place to live in dispite the fact that most conservatives consider it a failed state. If my analysis is correct, then heres is my reply:you are more than welcome to that place,so long as I dont have to go anywhere near it!

@DavidT8899 The post wasn't for you, it was about you.
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Graylight That was even more confused than what you originally posted!("The post want for you"?)
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
@Graylight If Im getting what you were trying to express, you were saying that people like myself who tend to be more conservative will always think that California in its current state is a place to avoid;you happen to belive that its a paradise and if pepole like myself think what they think about the place they shouldnt go there.Well,Ok,I happen to agree with you on that.........

Grew up here and been all over the country. While over all I tend to agree, California is not a perfect state. Just less bad than others.

Until commercialism has become less prominent there is no where that can be any better. That unfortunately is a California problem as well as a world problem.

I agree this greed is definitely more prominent in republican states. That can not be denied. Yet even my father complain about the greed ever so present in California decades before he passed away.

I can see where you are upset, I have complained myself of republicans not only interfering in California yet as well pretending to be democrats.

I think you know just who I am referring to. Yet that candidate isn't the only fake democrat. Such fakes are everywhere in California politics. 😞

Don't worry I won't live there again. My company sent me there to work and unfortunately I had to be there 6 years. I've lived in 5 different states and been to all 50 abnd CA is the one I'd least likely to live in again. It has good scenery but so does many other states.

Awesome. This Californian approves that message. I'm proud to live in a state that scares others. A place they want to see fail because of course they do. Especially knowing that for most of them their understanding of it is pulled from horseshit they're fed or maybe a visit to Disneyland a kid. Always cracks me up to see how little they know about this place. It's just S.F. and L.A. to them. And even in the areas where it's redder than red, they're still Californians and don't live in fear of "the other."
Cars and fires are progress enough for people without a future.

@Roundandroundwego If you are trying to say that California is lost cause,I agree.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Roundandroundwego Hurricanes, avalanches, tornadoes...are we pointing out safe places to live, because I don't know one. Look, the people who know, know. The rest need not waste their time with this horrible, terrible, backwards state.
ron122 · 41-45, M
Well all right then.🙄 Just keep Pelosi out of Florida.
Graylight · 51-55, F
Ignorance is unbecoming on everyone. @ron122

Wish I could afford to live in or near Mendocino since I have some past roots there ... or at least Eureka didn't have a shuttered nuke plant near the beach and tons of junkies ... (but even housing in Eureka/Arcata/etc. isn't much better than Mendocino)
