No, good Christians should never support Russia..

Good Christians can only support bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Invasion of the middle east, Vietnam, Cuba.. what not!!

i think by now it is obvious how some of the most evil despots try to use the church. It isn’t new, Hitler did the same.

{@spotpot} they say you can be a good christian attend church but how an earth can they ever endorse putins actions . what hypocrisy from this man pretends on one hand he is a christian then sanctions the butchering of the innocent . putin is more the work of the devil than christ
Let's look at the facts.

1) Russia signed an agreement to NOT attack Ukraine in exchange for Ukraine giving up its nuclear weapons.

[c=BF0000]RUSSIA HAS VIOLATED THIS AGREEMENT.[/c]

2) Putin not only ILLEGALLY started the war, he has also specifically gone after civilian targets--hospitals, schools, daycare, apartment complexes.

3) Power stations might well be fair game, but their treament of "Europe's" largest nuclear power plant is disturbingly and dangerously cavalier, and it's clear that he wants to seize THAT, as well (free power for Mother Russia?).

4) Putin's fit of pique after having the only bridge to Crimea blown up resulted in a PEDESTRIAN bridge being blown up.

5) Putin has used long-range missiles, weaponized drones, and now a veiled threat of nuclear weapons as ever-more-desperate attempts to gain ground.

6) Putin displayed vast hubris when he seemed to think Ukraine would fall over perhaps a long weekend.

7) Putin has had negotiators lie about cease-fires and has NEVER honored the agreed-upon terms.

Do these sound like the characteristics of Christ? The attitude of Christ?

These are the actions of a lying breaker of sober international obligations.

I doubt no one supports Putin, apart from the madmen around him.
You do not have to be Christian to see he is not Christian in anyway.
Actually war for wars sake is a no. To stop evil, then yes.

Question though, how is Putin on the side of good, how is their enemy?

Who's the agressor, who started it and why really?
Ukraine didn't start it, and no one human rights were being denied or eliminated. They were in independent country, and wanted to remain so, Putin didnt want that and thought itd be over in less than a week.

I don't support Putin

Christians by nature, should never support war.
Dshhh · M
@RedBaron yes, I just distrust religious motives and regular abandonment of principles
RedBaron · M
@Dshhh Did you know that Christians, many of them Catholic, saved many Jewish lives by hiding and sheltering people during the Holocaust?
Dshhh · M
@RedBaron I do. many have done many fine things.
but I dont trust most with that label , grew up in church. I am skeptical of those who Fly that Label

Hate the sin, love the sinner.

Applies to a lot more than just some leader a half a world away!!
Christian people support NATO, so yeah, war is good, now.

Irrelevant. I don't support his war, but I don't see what stops someone from being a Christian if they do
@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Then you don't care if someone supports leaders who violate his claimed core values...meaning that the claimed core values...aren't.
