Thus far she has shown herself to be cloth eared and ill counselled. She could do herself a lot of favours in the next 48 hours by listening and compromising like a proper leader should. But ultimately I think her authority and the electoral prospects of the CP have been terminally damaged.

maybe because i have no idea who she is!

Absolutely not. She's a thick, arrogant moron. The greatest single example of someone being over-promoted I've ever seen. I don't know what satire is any more.
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
I doubt it , she has proved her incompetence and hasnt even got the trust of her own party . Their already talking about replacing her and there is so much in fighting that she wont have the numbers to back her so has lost her power to govern . I think its just a matter of time and probably an election is looming which will mean a labour landslide .
supersnipe · 61-69, M
@Rhode57 Trussed up like a turkey, done to a (U) turn & gone by Christmas!
TheSirfurryanimalWales · 61-69, M
Keep her there....I want Labour in power.
@Northerner were doomed with the present shower of shits. Not that Keir Starmer inspires anything but..... Yawn

Doubtful.
Being forced to fire your chancellor is the sign of a lame duck.

And you guys wanted to get rid of Boris, lol, didn't think it could get worse, never challenge worse!
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
No her press conference has done nothing to garantee her position , its time for an election she has to go and if she doesnt god help us all .
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Interesting start . . she has brought in Jeremy Hunt, a "big talent", but the universal pariah of the past 5 years.
Rhode57 · 56-60, M
@SunshineGirl Yep he isnt going to change any outcome her time is up .
Probably not but I don't think she should get the credit for all the turmoil
PicturesOfABetterTomorrow · 41-45, M
Hard to say. I think the one thing that might save her for awhile is fear that the news person might be even more of a disaster.
Northerner · 70-79, M
We have to have an election and hopefully there will be a breakaway party,
ididntknow · 51-55, M
No, she’ll go on Monday
@ididntknow Won't be that quick.
Most likely not
zonavar68 · 56-60, M
She's upset the WEF so probably not.

SW-User
i hope not
Pfuzylogic · M
she didn’t look as frumpled as Boris and she kind of combs her hair.

Conservatives always do. There's no limit. Nuclear brinkmanship in Europe, austerity in the UK, - it's okay to bash brits and the truth.
Scarfface · 46-50, M
She shouldn't
She's sacked someone for doing what she said 🤔 it's totally crazy

@SW-User Yes...the extraordinary thing is that this time, it seems to have ended before it's begun. Douglas-Home lasted less than a year but...the Parliament had run its course and he simply lost an election. But this seems different. They have chosen an unlikable and unsuitable person. It's down to the selection process they have nowadays as much as anything else.
Persephonee · 22-25, F
@supersnipe Exactly.
Having a party's members chose the leadership is fine for a fringe group with no real chance of national government (Communists, Alba, Poole People Party, Liberal Democrats), but insane if they're serious about running anything more important than a cake stall. (I wouldn't trust LT to manage that, either).
Otherwise we should just get the king to do it all. He'd utterly detest it as well which means it would probably all end up ok.
