@MalteseFalconPunch This is why I think globalism might help things. It would likely be the end of large-scale war.

@MalteseFalconPunch You brought up a valid and shocking point. No thanks necessary.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
He didn't lie. At the time Congress approved his going into Iraq, Saddam DID have the chemical weapons. They weren't there because they were moved.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
@Roundandroundwego There was no lie. Saddam didn't threaten our troops with slingshots. He threatened them with chemical weapons. He didn't wipe out masses of Kurds with cap pistols. He killed them with chemical weapons. And he was harboring Al Qaeda in his country at the time, which mean him aiding and abetting the people who destroyed the World Trade Center.
Roundandroundwego · 61-69
@Reason10 okay, then bombs away! No choice! Twenty years of boom!
SnailTeeth · 36-40
Millions of innocent peoples' lives were destroyed because of this callous, idiotic bullshit.
I don't think the USA could have punched down any further.
It's crazy that people are even trying to justify the butchering of those civilians. Their nation still hasn't recovered, and may never recover.

You assume Bush was running anything. He was a puppet, just like Biden.... well he could speak coherently. But the same puppet type president.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@GoingDownSouth Lol. Just like God is real too, huh?
GoingDownSouth · M
@SnailTeeth of course he is!! Dumb question.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@GoingDownSouth That's a dismissive stance.

Some known knowns remain unknown and other unknown knowns remain non topics.
We're past any need to hold him accountable.

@Roundandroundwego Oh yea, murdering a nation is no biggie. I guess you'll show Putin the same leniency, huh?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
He should at the very least go to trial.

@Reason10 No, you put people on trial for war crimes. There is something like international law, there is something like an international tribunal for war crimes. Something that the US supports when it doesn't involve them. The hypocrisy of the United States and other big countries concerning international law is pretty much over the top. Espescially the US, considering that they were the country that pushed for these international agreements after the 2nd world war. But it's "freedom and liberty for us, law and order for everyone else". Which is also something dumbasses that make dumb remarks about "making liberals cry" keep supporting.
It's kinda ironic that you call yourself "reason", I mean... How stupid can you be if you give a remark like the one you gave as a responds to someone uttering the idea that someone should get a fair trial.

Should we have an ancient history subtopic here?

@MistyCee Idc, wwic? I consider myself sovereign on sw until fn.
But yea, you're probably right, genocide is no big deal.

@SnailTeeth Nah, genocide is still a big deal, but the world has turned quite a bit since those days, and Bush and Palin seem quaint compared to MAGA folks.
Spotpot · 41-45, M
Trump supported the invasion of Iraq.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@Spotpot Trump should be beheaded in public. Not in a murderous way, but more of an accident of divine intervention. I would cheer if his big orange head came off, just out of the relief I would feel of not having to endure another minute of his bullshit. And everyone who supported his tyranny, should have their right foot cut off, for trying to overthrow democracy in the name of bigotry.

Yes he should
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Thanks for bringing up this timely and current topic. Maybe I should block you so that your constant attention-seeking doesn't bother me.
SnailTeeth · 36-40
@LordShadowfire You're just simping out of incel tendencies. I forgive you, silly simp.
