You just wait and see, liberal, when the REAL results come out of Georgia, Michigan and Arizona from the voting machines that Hugo Chavez manipulated in Venezuela to be sent to the US to change the votes from Trump to Biden we'll see who the real president is!!
Vin53 · M
You can't just say "liberal" it's not convincing enough, try "libscum" "libdumbs"

@TrumpIsFinallyGone At a recent DEFCON hackers convention in las Vegas several voting machines were disassembled and given to hackers to see if they could hack into them.
At the end of the convention the lead hacker was asked if he found any evidence of tampering.
His answer was: NO.
Hackers did find some flaws in the system which is normal for software but no ACTUAL evidence of hacking.

@TrumpIsFinallyGone i thought it was Chinese using bamboo chopsticks!

I think the issue was muddied somewhat by some of the wild accusations that there flung around (.e.g voting machines controlled by the CCP). There were clear cases of dodginess going on and no appetite by policial DAs to investigate/prosecute improper acts. I saw a press conference by a sheriff in small town who had decided to go public as he knew the DA wouldn't pursue it. He had evidence of systematic vote tampering/fraud in elderly care complexes mosly likely state wide. I've not heard any more about that so assume he was right. The leftists would argue that there weren't any cases in court - well that was broadly true - you need a DA to take a case to trial and in the areas with policically controlled DAs that simply didn't happen. Doesn't mean the fraud didn't happen though.
Some stuff that happened wasn't technically illegal too - but certainly wasn't fair. E.g supression/censorship of news stories that affected one side. Another one was making it harder to vote in certain areas where one side tended to dominate. Not actually illegal but underhand nevertheless.

@Graylight I watched sworn testimony given before state leglatures detailing irregulatiries which constitutes evidence but because it wasn't brought before a court was ignored.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@CheekyBadger 61 times, "evidence" has been heard in court on this. Care to guess how many related in charges or further investigation?
CheekyBadger · M
@Graylight there have been a few minor cases that I've heard about - but I'm not aware of any major ones being prosecuted. Even the one I mentioned earlier where the sheriff gave press conference wasn't massive - if I remember right it was several thousand votes at stake.

I think the issue is less that they thought he won and more that they believe it's a genuine travesty that he didn't win. What is really apparent is that the Left seem to think it's acceptable to interfere with democracy for the sake of preventing what they think is a disaster, but when the Right does or says anything remotely similar they think it's wrong and weaponize it to a really extreme degree. For years, removing Trump from his presidency was a legitimate priority of theirs...then when *some* people question the outcome of an election that is suddenly a violation of democracy?

Whenever I see someone with a “Trump 2020” flag, I think to myself, “yep they’re crazy”.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@SW-User At least they're immediately identifiable now.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SW-User unfortunately, I see them as insurrectionists, i am, sorry to say, feeling that way when I see someone flying the US flag!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Well, they don't really believe it; they just see it as a way to avoid facing a reality that scares them because it literally shoves them back in the woodwork. Like middle school kids who were popular and live those few years of their lives over and over again, they can't give up their moment of attention they were given. That being said, they don't even believe in conservative principles. Like their paper-hero, they just want attention.

Because fairy tales have power and meaning and because most non-aligned Americans don't seem to care about January 6th very much, though they really should.
I am not American and I hate Trump btw. I'm describing this as I see it.

huh, guess I didn't turn my sarcasm meter detection level quite high enough.
And no, I completely disagree, trump is becoming more and more unable to run in 2024 even as we speak.

MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Vin53 I agree. Of course under the heading anything can happen, sure he technically could run and win. But, except for the most mind-dead servile of "the base" most people don't want to put up with his antics again. That doesn't mean the hate-in-his-heart style of politics goes away. It just doesn't carry quite the same punch with as many people as it once did.
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
Because it's true and you'll know it if you do a little research.

Torsten · 36-40, M
were Libs not doing that in 2016 with Hilary Clinton? I swear they were crying for 4 years about how rigged the elections were. Funny how that changed when they got the vote they all wanted..
All hypocrites and all the same no matter what side you're on

samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Torsten you do know that she DID win the popular vote, by millions, and we're it not for the gerrymandered electoral college she would have become the president and saved us all from a great deal of problems! The problems of the electoral college's electee continue today. What will history show about the past 6 years plus what still is being revealed?
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Torsten No one called it a rigged election. No one rioted. White supremacy groups didn't go off marching and not a single citizen committed insurrection. Dems didn't file more than 60 court motions. They didn't strong-arm officials to lie. And they didn't steal documents, obfuscate and refuse to work with the incoming administration.
Yes, totally the same.

samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Graylight you forgot how many investigations were mounted and that no serious problems were found despite all of the investigations, of any of the alleged problems. Everyone seems to also forget, that he took the records away illegally, into his own home, they were not his to take, that having been caught with his hand in the cookie jar once, he still kept records and was caught a second time, and then the DoJ needed a search warrant to find even more records that he stole from the US citizens.
Crazywaterspring · 61-69, M
That's what plenty of trump appointed judges said.
Northwest · M
That's exactly how they do it.
brian29715 · 46-50, M
Since Biden has been in office, I’m not sure how my life has been better or as good as when Trump was in office.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@brian29715 then you may be in the lucky group that wasn't affected by the economic downturn. Many were lucky, but there was a subset of the population who were out of work, struggling and are now better, not living the life of millionaires, but not struggling as much.
brian29715 · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 I was able to minimize the downturn and was fortunate to not lose my job. I did take two significant pay cuts to do it. But both of those were in Biden's first year. Couple that with higher gas prices, insecurity at the border, and lockdowns it’s been a rough 18 months
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@brian29715 those were rough times, that is why congress passed the laws to try to help. I hope things are improving. gas has certainly dropped significantly..
BohemianBabe · M
The elections are all rigged against us... but make sure you vote for us!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@BohemianBabe Yes! That IS the cry of, for, and by victims everywhere.
