The McCain mafia is likely shitting bricks now that their attempt to steal the primary from Kari Lake has failed. Their fear of the Trump endorsed Lake is palpable, and for good reason. Lake will be running against the current Secretary of State, Katie Hobbs, for governor. Hobbs played a central role in AZ's 2020 election fraud.
I have friends in the Phoenix area and near Yuma. They seem very concerned about all the people relocating from California to metro areas in Arizona. The entire I-10 corridor appears to be one big construction site. Arizona's culture and economy sure seems to be changing.
@LeeInTheNorthWoods AZ is still a solid red state. It's just incredibly corrupt. We saw it in 2020. There was a lot of cheating that went on in this primary. Pinal County didn't have enough ballots for republicans...true voter suppression, and a story that deserves more attention as to what happened. Candidate Matt Salmon dropped out of the race a long time ago, and yet he still appeared on the ballot and got 27K votes. No reason for him to be there. Maricopa County election center erected a chain link fence around building, and covered it in plastic sheeting so people couldn't see. What were they hiding? Kari Lake has close to a million followers on social media and was way ahead in the polls. Her challenger, Karrin Robson has 10K followers, and suddenly catches Lake from out nowhere?
@Spotpot Seriously...if Lake was actually easier for Hobbs to beat, why would the democrats and RINOs try so hard to cheat in the primaries to take out Lake, and insert an allegedly more difficult challenger? That's just stupid on all levels. But, I guess it wouldn't occur to a democrat to actually think about it.
