don't be silly.

@LamontCranston I agree. It would be silly to allow him to get away with treason.

@CorvusBlackthorne Your typical silly comment. Do you lurk looking for sensible remarks to pounce on?
Look, CB, if there was evidence Garland's "Justice" Dept. would have indicted.

My dear @LamontCranston, if I lurked on Similar Worlds waiting for sensible remarks to respond to, you and I would have no correspondence whatsoever.

@LamontCranston Do you know what an indictment hearing is? It's where the prosecution lays out their case to a judge or someone else in authority, in preparation to prosecute a defendant. They are basically laying out the case that they have a case to prosecute.

You simply cannot fathom as to how slow our Gov't jurisprudence system proceeds. No normal person possibly could.

@Vin53 "the wheels of justice grind slowly..."
no news there.

@LordShadowfire Are you and CorvusBlackthorne the same person or siamese twins? i have repsonses from "both" of you within seconds.
@LamontCranston The Shadow knows...

@CorvusBlackthorne He does know. The weed of crime bears bitter fruit.
LamontCranston · M
@LordShadowfire I'm afraid, as is too often the case , you are wrong. An indictment is filed by a prosecutor alleging a crime.
The laying out of a case is a presentation by a prosecutor before a grand jury.
Neither of these has happened.

Can personally confirm.
First, law enforcement investigates.
Then the prosecution has a heating where they have to prove it's likely the defendant committed a crime.
Then the prosecution and the defense talk.
And talk.
And talk.
And talk.
Then, if they can't make a deal, they go to trial. (If everybody involved hasn't already died of old age.)

@Vin53 Yeah, but that's beside the point. They had already done the indictment hearing. That's the step we're on with the case against Trump.
Vin53 · M
I would wager damn good money that the judge even asked you if you agreed to the plea deal on your own accord with no threat against you not doing so.

@LamontCranston
That in no way contradicted what I said.
Actually, it did. You stated that
An indictment is filed by a prosecutor alleging a crime.
The laying out of a case is a presentation by a prosecutor before a grand jury.
I informed you that in certain cases, an indictment is much more than just a paper being filed, but rather an entire hearing in which the defense isn't allowed to attend. That's what is going on right now on national TV.

@LamontCranston This guy has several accounts and talks to himself through them.🤣
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@LamontCranston Blacktooth is also Shadowfire the idiot and he uses both accounts to brigade people and spy on people who've blocked him. He's a real piece of shit, probably among the most odious offal this site has to offer, came to us from Yahoo Answers thinking he's the height of hilarity and cleverness.
LamontCranston · M
@SumKindaMunster Thank you. Perhaps I should block one of "them" so as to limit the amount of offal in the comment stream.

@LamontCranston That's exactly what i did. 👍
