In Some Cities Gas Costs More Than The Federal Minimum Wage, As Inflation Harms Most Working Americans

Drivers across the United States are feeling the record surge in gas prices that impact the nation’s entire population

In some cities, the cost of a gallon of gas has now surpassed the federal minimum wage, meaning that it takes more than one hour of working to afford a single gallon of gas. While the average cost of gasoline surpassed $4.60 nationwide over the Memorial Day weekend, some cities are seeing much higher prices.

Analysts like Patrick De Haan of Gas Buddy have predicted a continued surge in the cost of gas as we enter the summer months.

And it's everyone else's fault than Biden and the Dems spending $8 trillion dollars - flooding the economy with money and doing nothing to resolve supply chain issues. Biden IS the enemy!

I wonder how long before people are chasing rabbits in the local parks because they are hungry.🤔
On a more personal note, I wonder if I can field strip an entire cow in one night...🤔😅

@UnderLockDown Just put the cat to work...🤣🤣🤣
@4meAndyou We have lots of rabbits, that could be an option.😼😆

@UnderLockDown Rabbits, squirrels, mice...they ALL make great stew! 🤣🤣🤣
@4meAndyou I see squab in my future.😋 The wild pigeons here are bigger than the quail, and probably easier to catch.🍗

@UnderLockDown I'll look for some nice recipes for you...🤣

@UnderLockDown actually I’ve been thinking the same, plenty of squirrels, geese and ducks around here…if they are on private property out of sight of the general public they’ll be fair game.
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Must not hunt or shoot on private property. Dangerous!
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou if it is your own
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Yes. No shooting the neighbor's dogs accidentally...🤣🤣🤣
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou you can have land far enough away from neighbor’s to hunt on. Also trapping rabbits etc.
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti True. Trapping is safer. But you should put Rhubarb to work...🤣🤣🤣
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou Rhubarb is not that good of a hunter, eats bugs in the summer.
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Mighty Mighty hunter of moths!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Say,,,did you hear that school children in Wales are being asked to eat bugs for school lunch programs as part of an experimental food program? 🤣🤣🤣
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou yeah I heard that and you better believe if I was one of those children they would wish they hadn’t even tried. They are violating personal boundaries when they pull this crap and that includes on children. Do they think they have a right to overstep a parent’s teaching to them?

@UnderLockDown make sure you buy the cow first. Because in many places throughout the World, Rustling is still punishable by death.
