Being Pro-Life

I honestly believe that I'm one of the most pro-life people you can come across. And yet so many people that are pro-life seem to disagree. 🤷‍♂️

I believe that medicine should be socialised, because I'm pro everyones life
I believe that education should be socialised, because I'm pro life
I believe guns should be restricted, because I'm pro life
I'm against the death penalty, because I'm pro life
I'm pro governement aid when it comes to basic food, access to energy, access to drinking water, housing and internet access. Because I'm pro life.
I'm pro contraceptives, because hell, people should have a life and I'm all for that!
I'm pro abortions before the fetus becomes concious, because I believe the parents have a right to manage their life.
I'm pro people having the choice for euthanasia when life becomes unbearable, because I'm pro life.
I'm for drugs, sex, rock & roll, house music ... and all those other things that give flavor to life.
'Cause I'm pro life!

... and how other people live their life, as long as it doesn't have a serious impact on my life or the life of my fellow citizens, is none of my business. They can have their life, because I'm Pro Life.

I have two children, and I loved being pregnant. I felt like the most beautiful woman on the planet with my big belly bump and my increased bust size.
Never even thought of an abortion, which is legal within the first couple of months in my country.

@helenS Im adopted. I’ve never met my birth mother and probably never will. She was single when she had me so she obviously went full term and I’m glad she did but that is not necessarily the case for every mother to be out there.

Abortions should be a last resort option and focus should be on protection so it doesn't come to abortions, yet I also think that women should have the right to abort children they don't want to have.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Oh... the personal responsibility card. That tactic that kinda denies the reality where human beings pop out of a random vagina and get formed according to the social enviorement that they have been popped out too.

Next to the lack of understanding of how random it is where you start and in what conditions a human being starts, there is also the issue that the framework in which people need to build up their lifes and take their "personal responsibility" doesn't expand liberty to the largest amout of people. It kinda concentrate it to a small clique. Because it's "inherent" to the system, it's not something human beings made out of it. And it's been known to be inherit, from the very beginning. Adam Smith never made a secret out of it when he wrote his love letter to capitalism. But those people that embrace a selective reading of the entire thing today, kinda forget about those parts.
