Being Pro-Life

I honestly believe that I'm one of the most pro-life people you can come across. And yet so many people that are pro-life seem to disagree. 🤷‍♂️

I believe that medicine should be socialised, because I'm pro everyones life
I believe that education should be socialised, because I'm pro life
I believe guns should be restricted, because I'm pro life
I'm against the death penalty, because I'm pro life
I'm pro governement aid when it comes to basic food, access to energy, access to drinking water, housing and internet access. Because I'm pro life.
I'm pro contraceptives, because hell, people should have a life and I'm all for that!
I'm pro abortions before the fetus becomes concious, because I believe the parents have a right to manage their life.
I'm pro people having the choice for euthanasia when life becomes unbearable, because I'm pro life.
I'm for drugs, sex, rock & roll, house music ... and all those other things that give flavor to life.
'Cause I'm pro life!

... and how other people live their life, as long as it doesn't have a serious impact on my life or the life of my fellow citizens, is none of my business. They can have their life, because I'm Pro Life.

"Pro-Life" is just a codeword for male authority over women.

@helenS Yeah, that's not really pro life of the women. So I won't do that.

@helenS Abortion has always been legal in my country how ever we also have the highest rate of teenage pregnancies in the developed world. So what does that tell you abort the ability to get an abortion?

It tells me that just because abortion is legal DOESNT mean that every woman with an unplanned pregnancy is going to take that option. It’s the HARDEST decision that any woman will ever have to make in her life. It also means that we shouldn’t take away a woman’s right to be able to make that decision if she so chooses.

@justanothername Thank you – very much appreciated. 🌷
I have two children, and I loved being pregnant. I felt like the most beautiful woman on the planet with my big belly bump and my increased bust size.
Never even thought of an abortion, which is legal within the first couple of months in my country.

@helenS Im adopted. I’ve never met my birth mother and probably never will. She was single when she had me so she obviously went full term and I’m glad she did but that is not necessarily the case for every mother to be out there.

@helenS Why would you say that? As if only men are pro life. That's a weird way to put it.
