A

You can only vote on one answer.
A: a weak leader, but you agree with their policies and what they stand for

B: a strong leader, but someone who also goes against everything you believe in, restrictive, crazy, etc

...
I guess ideally, both someone strong but also someone with good policies would be good,
But I'm bored and wondering what you doods would pick if it was either one or the other

Because why the heck not?

Neither. I'd like a leader who can compromise and find intelligent solutions that deliver the best outcomes for society as a whole.

@SunshineGirl (Unfortunately) I'd advise you not to hold your breath!
@SunshineGirl This answer.

I would pick satan over Biden
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Elessar you don't recognize my sources so i don't recognize yours 🤷‍♂️ plus I've legit never heard of that organization
Elessar · 26-30, M
@TheRascallyOne You don't recognize my source (a joint panel of well known agencies, notably CIA, NSA and FBI among others) yet expect me to take the word of a single man echoed by tabloids as irrefutable proof.

If this exchange could get any more ridiculous...
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Elessar Do you think the CIA and FBI would go against a Democrat while a democratic president was in office lol
Montanaman · M
Or ...
A) Biden
B) Trump

@Elessar

I feel compelled to post this here:

@Fishy This could seriously work well as an ad for condoms or vasectomies clinics tbh
Fishy · 36-40, F
@Elessar it's creepy because they got baby faces but old man hands 😖
Uhohuhoh · 51-55, C
What exactly does 'weak' or 'strong' mean in this context?
Fishy · 36-40, F
@Uhohuhoh I'm leaving it open for interpretation 😅
Uhohuhoh · 51-55, C
@Fishy my interpretation. 'Strong leader' . A narcissist who wants to 'win' for no other reason other than personal gain or gratification. They have no vision or drive to improve the lives of others. Who would vote for such a person? Nobody . Hence why their entire campaigning effort is spent on convincing people they 'need a strong leader' and that they are one. 'Weak leader' - the opponent of the above person
My country isn't a democracy we don't choose really. The president used to be an army general. It was either him or Islamists.
I'd prefer a civil president who's strong but just.

I think it'd depends.on how you define strong/weak...

Using Trump has an example, obviously he'd call himself strong because he was a loud mouth, but he (to my limited knowledge) was the only US President that couldn't read the Presidential security briefings. (Supposedly they were too long, complex and boring to keep his attention).

So I'd like someone strong, but the long mouths that are usually citing themselves as strong usually aren't it.

So I think it'd depends on how one defines the weak and strong, etc.

Short of literal tyranny, it’s hard to answer the question since in reality there’s no such thing as ‘one leader’ in governing a country
Anyone who truly sees Trump as a "strong” leader would probably have seen Hitler or Stalin as strong, too. Bullies don’t represent "strength” to me…sorry.
Montanaman · M
@bijouxbroussard but how do you view the state of our economy throughout the Trump years? Especially before Covid hit us? Honestly, we're We better then than now?
@Montanaman In terms of the employment situation Trump kept the momentum of the previous eight years going. But he took unearned credit for all of it. I also remember how people were being treated, with Trump’s encouragement.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
Option C: no leaders
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
I think 'strong leader' brings the wrong ideas as some comments have shown. The better term would be "great leader". I think its a very good question what makes a great leader. I just found this after some Googling and I really like this.

The most important qualities of a good leader include integrity, accountability, empathy, humility, resilience, vision, influence, and positivity. “Management is about persuading people to do things they do not want to do, while leadership is about inspiring people to do things they never thought they could.”
Fishy · 36-40, F
@FeetAreFantastic A great leader would be a combination of A+B 😅
FeetAreFantastic · 41-45, M
I choose A but we have neither. We have a weak, lying, manipulative and two-faced little guy as a leader for 12 years now with seemingly no end in sight.
But.... we don't have anybody better either.
