Biden Administration Cuts Trump’s Tariffs On Over 350 Products Made In China

"The “Big Guy” is helping out his buddy Xi by removing Trump-imposed tariffs on billions of dollars worth of products made in China. U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods

In a knee-jerk reaction to eliminate anything attached to his predecessor, the Biden-Harris administration has ditched tariffs on over 350 products made in China — everything from breast pumps to X-ray tables and even some food products."

Making America more dependent on his puppetmasters, the Communist Chinese government. No surprise
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Actually this means "The Big Guy" is helping out Americans by reducing the cost to the consumers at a time of inflation. Of course, if the price Gouging American makers could compete, this wouldnt be an issue. All Trump did was reduce the need to local makers to compete and maximise their profits. But you knew that already I am sure.😷
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@boudinMan Yes. Thats an option.. IF the business doesnt have a cheaper competitor in the market. Thats Free Market 101. And thats what drives efficiency.😷
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@whowasthatmaskedman now you're sounding like a true conservative... kudos.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@boudinMan If I am supposed to be insulted by that, you missed. In terms of my own nation I am actually considered Moderate conservative. Kids to Ivy League school. Family Tertiery educated. House cars and pension fund. But I understand as an economist that there are things pure capitalism (for all its good work) doesnt do well. And I know that a system where Capital runs everything to suit itself if going to leave behind a class of people, poor, homeless, uneducated and unhealthy. Sound familar yet?
The thing is I know those people are in the end going to cost more to control and contain than they would have to invest in and support. That would make it a little harder for the moneyed people to compete of course. So I believe that when "Conservatives" ignore these people instead of defusing the bomb within their cities its time to throw the B@$t@rd$ out of office and get some more even handed people into the party. Hopefully my own nation is about to do just that.😷

Did Trump's approach of trying to 'force' companies to make stuff in the USA even work? Or was it just all about 'isolationism' similar to North Korea's approach to the rest of the world?
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
Biden will continue to prop up China and continue to destroy the USA, he's a treasonous thug who kisses Commie butt.

Good. Tariffs are idiotic in the modern economy.
@sunsporter1649 And good job proving you don't understand basic economics.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow You spend money like drunken marxists, you get inflation. Simple
@sunsporter1649 And thank you for proving you don't understand economics.
Well...Joe and Hunter made a lot of deals with Chinese oligarchs, so Pedo Joe owes Xi some favors. Too bad that info is in Hunter's laptop. 👀 The one that was Russian disinformation until like a week ago when the NY Times admitted it was real.

If you knew how tariffs worked, you would know that this is a good thing.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@AbbySvenz Unless the consumers purchase locally made products, right?
AbbySvenz · F
Not really, since many raw material prices went up 🤷‍♀️ @sunsporter1649

If it's part of a deal we have to make so that China deosn't help Russia militarily right now, so be it.

We have a bigger fish to fry right now.
