Do you support the universal cancellation of student debt?

@independentone Also, I realize I have been primarily responding to Sunnyboy here, but, fuck their business model. Any business that relies on lying to it's customers so they can saddle them with infinite debt can get gutted for all I care.

@sunsporter1649 Everybody pays for roads, not just drivers. Everybody pays for primary education, not just parents. There are all kinds of things we have realized are so useful to society as a whole that they are effectively necessary and everyone pays for them, not just the people directly using them, because everyone benefits from their existence.

@OggggO I agree with that, but regarding college, why not make community college free, and maybe a reasonable tuition fee for State Colleges. I don't want to pay for some spoiled kid to go to USC or Stanford.
There are plenty of scholarships out there, all one has to do is apply and have a decent GPA.

That could solve the problem in the future, but forgiving those who borrowed the money in the first place should pay it back. Maybe back off interest and pay principle only.
