So many people are pro-choice when it comes to COVID vaccines but are those people also pro-choice when it comes to a woman's right to abort?

@Carazaa Let me ask you this: You and yours are out at a restaurant, or maybe you're sitting nearby a family with young children or older members. Now, let's say I love to smoke. Cigarettes, the occasional cigar, maybe even CBD products. I walk right over to that table and I exhale all the smoke I can repeatedly out over the people seated there. People with developing lungs, perhaps hidden conditions, maybe COPD. Is that permissible? My body, my choice, right?

We mandate vaccinations for a variety of reasons in both adults and children. For education, travel, the military, volunteer work in dangerous locations. We don't mandate them for the individuals protection but for public health and welfare. Why is this, this deadliest virus we've seen in 100 years, any different? If you want to gamble with your life, have at it. Need to do 120 on open roads? Go for it. But do it in traffic and you'll end up in jail because someone else will have been harmed.

900,000 deaths and counting. How many until we give a damn about our neighbors?

@Graylight That's different on a few levels. First did I say that a business can not make their own rules? No I did not. And what do suppose the second reason is?

Laws protect your privacy of healthcare. There are laws against the government or anyones knowing what you do to your own body. So we can't make people do anything to their own body, nor demand you to disclose what you have done, ever. If we start going down that road then we have to change the laws.

However that does not mean that a business or a school can't have their own rules. And it doesn't mean that they can't ask if you are vaccinated. I have a right to refuse to answer. I can go to another school or another business, or give some proof that I am safe by testing positive or stay home if I am sick, or wear a mask if I am well, or I can disclose my medical condition if I had one. I understand young people who don't want the Covid vaccine, but I think it is irresponsible to not vaccinate kids with the measles vaccine or polio because it just spreads diseases that are permanent often with devastating consequences.

And to not wear a mask during a pandemic is just rude, whether we are vaccinated or not. I wear a N95 and I got my booster. I feel much better. I haven't gotten sick more than a day with sniffles, probably allergies.
