The US press is odd. They’ll beef up their candidate to “almost” throw an election their way. But, as soon as their candidate is in office, they go back to being piranhas and tear him apart. They prefer to make themselves front and center versus presenting options by which to measure a President (logically).
I’ve never understood that philosophy. If you have that much power, use it to inspire change in a way that forces Washington’s hand. Strangely, the media’s polarity has become more of an issue than any President.

Considering that Clinton didn't win with the 92% of the popular vote, as predicted by those same polls, I guess nobody really knows.
