Trump i s likely to be the least godly president ever in terms of behaviour and personality now a lot of white evangelicals leave their faith behind as a result of evangelical leaders strong support for Trump.

It validates that evangelicalism was always intended to be a political weapon, disguised as a religious movement based on God's word. It's another version of (perhaps) well-meaning people being duped by power-hungry intentioned individuals. See "Rev. Jim Jones," et al.
