CNN didn't actually fire him. They were very careful with their wording. They "indefinitely suspended" him. I think, unfortunately, that CNN wants to bring him back at some point in the future.

@Stargazer89 Because he wasn't. CNN very deliberately avoided saying that they fired him from their corporation. That's my fucking point. They're TRYING their best to make it look like Cuomo was totally axed, but they're leaving themselves just enough deniability that they can, should they choose to do so, bring him back.

@fanuc2013 I think Carlson is dead wrong. Just because Cuomo didn't break the law doesn't mean he didn't completely fail at his fucking job. If I worked at a library and my job was to restock books, and I decided to stand around doing nothing instead, I haven't broken the law but the library better still fire my lazy ass for being bad at my job.
