GainerDrew I am opposed to raising the minimum wage. It would reduce the number of entry level jobs. Those jobs are not meant for permanent employment. They are a stepping stone to a better job.
And taking money from corporate executives won't help people. The rich don't have enough money. Even if the federal government confiscated all their wealth, it's not enough to support even a fraction of the need.
You think that there is a finite amount of money, so if one person has more, others have less.

The way to help people is not to make the rich poorer but create wealth for the poor.
In the US, 80% of the bottom quintile of income move up to a higher income quintile. There are always poor people mostly due to immigration.
In your plan, you'd take money from the rich and spend it on the poor. That money would vanish in a moment. Then what? What happens tomorrow for poor people when there is no more money to confiscate.
