Why do liberals care more about helping refugees than they do for veterans?

Why are the ones that we are least obligated to care about get prioritization over the people who served our country?

In what ways have liberals refused to assist veterans? Most of the VA improvements we have started under Obama with bipartisan support.

What veterans programs would you like to see? At what level of supporting veterans is it acceptable to begin using resources to assist refugees? Or is supporting veterans a neverending funnel to justify trying to prevent helping other people?

Why are we least obligated to assist the victims of our own failed military and foreign policy?

@ViciDraco A better question to ask is, why do refugees feel like moving to every country that destroyed their own?

What kind of ancestral treason is that?

@MickRogers Moving the goal posts rather than addressing the original topic. Classic.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@ViciDraco LOL, open borders is not foreign policy?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@MickRogers They’re collaborators, so it makes perfect sense in any case.

@sunsporter1649 we weren't discussing broad based foreign policy. We weren't discussing open borders. We were discussing what the failures to help veterans are and why those failures should preclude us from helping other people that are suffering as a direct result of our actions.

@ViciDraco Ah, but that doesn’t fit with Sporty’s talking points bingo so 🤷‍♂️

@QuixoticSoul all part of the alt right playbook

@ViciDraco "Why are we least obligated to assist the victims of our own failed military and foreign policy?"

You brought it up, not me
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Numbnuts, how border patrol operates, and whether they take kids away from their parents or not, is domestic policy. You have rocks for brains.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Keep spinning, numbnuts, eventually you will get your head on straight
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Keep whining about brown people, you’ll stay just as dumb as you are.

@sunsporter1649 Copy, paste, repeat, repeat, repeat, Quack! 🦆

@sunsporter1649 that statement has nothing to do with open borders, and is not a discussion of foreign policy. It is stating that our foreign policy is a supporting factor that we have a responsibility to help these refugees.

Or are you saying that your attention span is too short to follow a reasonable discussion without running off on any little tangent trigger you can think of?

Because going off and talking about the derailment is another tactic to avoid a losing argument, let us bring the original topic back into focus.

What failures to care for our veterans do we need to address? And why do these failures preclude us from caring about other people?
