Cubans not welcome in United States?

DHS secretary warns Cubans not to come to United States. He says you will not come to the US. While the southern border is wide open.
Could it be because most Cubans vote Republican?

In Trump’s statement he alluded to basically the cessation of protests. Anyone know of via news outlets if there have been further protests? What may have happened? Was Trump accurate?

@soar2newhighs The protests have stopped in Cuba, as far as we know. We only have the satellites to tell us what is going on, because they have turned off the internet. They don't want us to see what they are doing to their own people.
