How much money does America lose on illegal immigrants? I assume that's the objection. If not, what are the other reasons?

I think they actually make more money on illegal immigrants than they lose. These people are working and spending money and paying sales tax on everything they buy...all while being ineligible for government benefits.

That's sort of my impression. These people are putting money into the economy and as you say, at least paying sales tax.
