Did Trump do better or worse then you had hoped/feared 4 years ago ?

Policy wise, I think he was better than I expected in a lot of areas, others not so much.

Personality and demeanor wise, he definitely didn’t live up to the hope that he would act like a mature human being.

Every time I thought he couldn't stoop any lower, he did.

Unfortunately for us and the rest of the world, he did about as good as I expected him to.

Much better than I thought. I just voted for him cause I hated Hillary. Now I’m really sad he’s gone :(

He was as bad as I expected, but the division in the nation is worse that imagined.

Both at once, really. He devastated environmental regulations more than I feared and weakened our international strength and standing more than I imagined. But I had also feared he would get us into a war with North Korea with his and Kim's egos colliding, but he didn't so that is much better than I feared.

I'm not an American however he did meet up with that North Korean Leader I feel Donald done well there that story hasn't finished yet current world Leaders need to keep talks on-going with North Korea certainly not as hopeless as it was thought to be.

I had very low expectations. And he certainly met those and unfortunately exceeded them. Just a disaster of a Presidency.

On one hand, I expected him to crash the economy so badly I ended up homeless, which didn't happen. On the other, I did not expect a pandemic which killed four hundred thousand Americans, which did. So, kind of hard to say.

There was more death than I expected.

I knew it would be bad. It was worse than I anticipated. I remember telling someone prior to the 2016 election that Trump was the kind of person who could kill 1,000,000 people without a second thought, as long as he benefited. Little did I realize that might literally come true.

Much, much, much worse.

I expected the worst 4 years ago, and it wasn't that bad for me personally. I expected a major world war, and big bad things like that, major cities burning down to rubble.

Other politicians interfering in quite some cases showed that we were not necessarily doomed with him.

I expected nonsense and got it but I was not prepared for quite so much.

He stood up to the idiocy I expected from him.

Trump didn't keep any of the liberal's promises. He didn't destroy the environment. He didn't destroy the planet. He didn't start World War 3. He didn't do any of the things the Democrats promised us he would do.
