The Trump cult jumps at everyone who doesnt submit to their net of lies...

now they are even going after their own scotus, none of them ever stops to question if its possible that they have been the ones telling all the lies and they dont add up.

but they are to weak to admit they were wrong and fight their way out of the completely delusional narrative they follow. all they can do is commit to more lies and, its kinda sad really.

@Uachtarain and the democrats rigged an election but evil mastermind democrats forgot to rig the very same ballot that also lost them important senate votes
Uachtarain · 26-30, M
@Milkshake yes they seem to have forgotten that. Interestingly, a lot of House Republicans who claimed that the ballots were fraudulent were also elected on those very same ballots...?

Maybe they should resign in protest....😂

@Milkshake good point
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
That's pretty much it.. they cannot bear to even think about what's really happened here - that Trump is a very sore loser who has thrown all his toys out of the pram in a tantrum and is making up lies about the election. There is NO evidence to support Trump's claims but still the Trump supporters cling to illogic and lies rather than face the truth
Milkshake · F
@Adaydreambeliever at this point i dont really know what to do with those people anymore. they are lost... and you have to give them up.

It is pretty sad. 🙁

It is highly ironic seeing them go after the SCOTUS, but it's not surprising since all this time they've touted it as a "MAGA Court", thinking these Trump-appointed judges are an extension of the Republican party and the personal servants of the president. (To be fair, many Democrats were accusing these judges of being that as well). But the SCOTUS doesn't belong to any party or any president. And the SCOTUS doesn't override the will of the people. Rather than accept that and realize it, they're lashing out (the best moment was when they turned against Fox News for recognizing Biden's win). Often when someone is lashing out at everything and everyone around them, they are the one with the problem.

Republicans have put all their eggs in the Trump basket. That's evidenced by the fact that they're talking about Trump running in 2024 or Trump Jr. taking over after that. They have nothing else.

It's a solid assessment. I used to feel 'sorry' for them too. When you can clearly see the manipulation, and who it's directed to, it's tough to watch. Particularly when they're the ones who are ultimately getting screwed the most. Don't feel that way any more. Certain types of people need to really feel the pain before they wake up. And others never will. They need to hate and blame. It's who they are. So they're on their own as far as I'm concerned. As long as they're never given a seat at the grown up table again I'm fine.

Trump is on a Twitter tantrum today. I would be shocked if Barr is not fired by Monday.

In addition, neither he nor his supporters understand the Constitution he swore to protect.

He thinks that if he got more voted than 2016, it’s impossible for him to lose. And they buy into this fallacy. Hey, dimwits. You win by getting more votes than the other candidate. As it stands, certified by all states and DC, you lost by 7 million votes. Process that.
@Northwest Modulo the electoral college, yes.

Trump lost BOTH general elections (2016 & 2020).

They’ll be turning on each other next.
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
@SW-User they already are. The GOP is splitting.

{@milkshake] yes alas you are absolutely right they are so blinkered and brainwashed by there messiah they cannot see beyond the end of there noses they have lost all sense of reality
Ynotisay · M
@OggggO Interesting. A trip in to the belly of the beast. I read that whoever is Q (insert Russian name here IMO) didn't post for a while after the election. And when he did, he said that everything that was going on was part of "The Plan." I guess they lean on "The Plan" a lot. But at first, The Plan was about Trump winning. So this like how the the End of the World people keep changing dates when their predictions fail. Now he's trying to keep people on board by saying this is all part of it. Looks like some might be getting wise.

as a republican i can say i remember when my party was just a bunch of reasonable people with differing views on the economy and not a festering fucktangle of democracy-hating fascist shitweasels
Milkshake · F
@tenente i am glad people like you still exist. republicans meant to me NRA, turbo capitalism and anti abortion. well i oppose all of that but those are valid oponions people can have.

but look at this hysterical mess now that is opposing reality it self
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
@tenente Yep. The US needs a non-crazy center right party. Myself and the ghosts of Ike and Nelson Rockefeller hopes it comes back.
Peapod · 61-69, F
@tenente I hope good people like you begin to band together and become a louder voice than the nonsense that is coming from the WH.

I really feel for decent Republicans right now.
deadgerbil · 22-25

His cultists are gonna need a lot of cope
walabby · 61-69, M
It was not unexpected, but very gratifying to see that the loyalty of the SCOTUS belongs to the Constitution and the Law, rather than a petulant narcissistic two year old that couldn't tell the truth if his life depended on it.
@walabby Sadly, true.
Peapod · 61-69, F
I think they have all collectively lost their minds.
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
Unfortunately true
Milkshake · F
@vetguy1991 its time that the good republicans... those that still have views i strongly oppose but those that are still free thinking individials based in reality stand up and take back their party from this devious trump cult.
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
@Milkshake I think you are right

Define Trump cultist
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand You didn't ask me but I am happy to jump in... a cultist is someone who believes everything their leader tells them even when their commonsense, (if they have any) is telling them it's wrong, kinda like the Jim Jones phenomenon - people knew he was deranged and acting insanely but they chose to believe and follow him blindly... This is like the Trumpists - they hear him saying he more popular than Jesus, they see him paying off hookers but they choose to believe in their leader, the person they follow blindly.
@Adaydreambeliever Excellent.
Mindful · 56-60, F
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
@tenente It beggars belief! And yet his fans see nothing odd and disturbing about this man's behaviour!
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Adaydreambeliever There will always be isolated people behaving badly. If you want to be depressed and terrified, consider that 70 million Americans voted for this sociopath AFTER seeing him operate for 4 years..😷
