Another nonsensical comment...WHO is saying that anyone is "infected" if they have the antigens; it doesn't mean that they are contagious and have the virus and are spreading it. This is the herd, like cattle, mentality of the left. Hatred toward those who don't obediently fall in line and give up what rights we have left; right to our own bodies. Roe v Wade has not been overturned. If women have right to abort their child, I have my right to NOT put poison, this vaccine or whatever I know is harmful to me, in mine. this is logic, not hatred.

Spreader is not mentioned in the comments, that is until you added it.

But, back to the variants. It's called science, and this is how viruses work. when they jump from one host to the next, they modify their genetic code, to insure that they can continue to confuse the hosts' immune system.

So, while the majority of people will survive it, the price of getting infected, is helping the virus mutate. The only way this mutation will stop, is if the virus does not get a chance to infect. Herd immunity is probably achieved when the virus is not capable of infecting more than 70% of the population, as in its odds of finding someone who is not immunized become negligible.
