Not having health insurance, to be honest though my problems are minuscule when compared to countries that don't even have electricity. I remember reading about females in India getting hung from trees when they go out to the bathroom because they're exposed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I have it worse but I wish health insurance wasn't so high for me (it's 700 monthly currently and I can't afford it.)

I haven't been able to afford it for now 9 years. I don't know what underlying problems why I can't get good insurance but that's my main issues, it's getting harder to live if you are not a skilled worker.

The main reason I'd not live in the US even though I do have that option is because of the healthcare system. It's one of the worst systems in the world to be a part of, never mind being a patient.

And lot of the people are too involved in online party politics to the extent that they hardly look at those different than them as human beings.

Lot of people are busy feeling right and even those seemingly educated and liberal in thought often turn out to be dickheads that I'd never want to be friends with.

And the justice system is shit too.

I love my country, I'm ashamed of democrats.

Whilst I can't really comment I only "lived" in CT for about 9 months and most weekends I commuted home to the UK anyway.

But... What I didn't like was the parochial viewpoint especially on the news coverage, the hypocrisy of regulations like those that banned bare breasts on TV but didn't seem to mind endless violence & the nationalistic viewpoint of some.

Having to share the country with Trump supporters is a bit of a downer

I’m a happy person so it’s not so much unhappiness as concern. So among the negatives:

Trump
The entire Republican Party
Guns
Racism/bigotry
The NFL sucks: too much passing. I won’t miss it if they don’t play
Income inequality


Thankfully I don’t have to deal with much of that where I live. I like it here and I think all of the above will get better over time.

We could do without the lying liberals who mindlessly repeat CNN's propaganda. The racism, the divisiveness, the lies and fraud, the anger, hate, and violence, are all coming from one side, and it's not the Trump supporters. 🙄

I am old and need help in my life and I have no family. I checked it out and, although I have a pension (retired teacher), I cannot afford any senior care facility in the US. If I need to go into a senior care facility (and right now it's looking like I will need to within a couple of years), I will need to move to Baja, Mexico or some other foreign country. One more alienation factor in my already lonely life, friends now dead or moved far away. Living in a foreign country is my best option for my care but I feel sad that I will have to live and die in a foreign country.

We need to grow the fuck up about politics and the media. But that's pretty universal.

I loved every bit of my time living in the US while I was there. Maybe I wouldn't have preferred a longer stay but whatever.
