Not having health insurance, to be honest though my problems are minuscule when compared to countries that don't even have electricity. I remember reading about females in India getting hung from trees when they go out to the bathroom because they're exposed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I have it worse but I wish health insurance wasn't so high for me (it's 700 monthly currently and I can't afford it.)
I haven't been able to afford it for now 9 years. I don't know what underlying problems why I can't get good insurance but that's my main issues, it's getting harder to live if you are not a skilled worker.

$700 US a month is for your family?@SatanBurger

@Vetrov No just me, called the affordable care number they give you to re-enroll in health care every year, the minimum was 700 monthly. I make minimum wage.

That is $1000 Australian.
My health insurance is $120 Australian a month.
That is unbelievable.

@Vetrov Hmm.. I should visit Australia lol. My situation isn't everyone's by the way, I've met people who are able to get 40 monthly but I don't know how they did it. I couldn't get food stamps on an 8 hourly job about 6 years ago too. I applied and they told me I made way too much money and the only food stamps I qualified for was 20 monthly lol.
8 hourly job was "too much" was their exact words 😂
But I've ran into people with food stamps, there were homeless people with food stamps. I don't know how they're able to do it. I've always thought it was just me lol.

@SatanBurger Its hard to imagine how hard life really is there.
We have cradle to grave social security.
Basic Health care is free.
You just pay private Health insurance to skip the queue a bit.
Get treated nicer,

@SatanBurger I'm sorry to hear that. It really does beggar belief that a country like the US cannot (or will not) provide free healthcare to all its citizens.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@avatiu9 I don't get it, I still don't get it actually. I've wondered that for many years. I've also wondered how some people are able to get insurance for fourty monthly. I still don't know in all honesty.

@SatanBurger :( Agreed. It can't be beyond the realms of possiblity surely. Although from what I can gather, a lot of Americans seem to think that providing free healthcare is some form of unnaceptable Socialism. Where did that attitude come from? Or have I got that wrong? :(
