@SW-User I'm guessing it's just a cynical way of shifting the conversation towards the flaws of social media platforms. It seems like the thing he's mad about is the website, itself fact-checking his Tweets and displaying refutations to the falsehoods he says under them, which is questionable on some level if you think about it. Trump kinda knows that he doesn't have to actually take legal action in order to hurt these websites, and that's what he's doing.

I don't think the issues with social media sites are ever going to be resolved, to be honest. They will forever be both a public space and not a public space, which means they're caught in this legal gray zone that will always lead to problems and ambiguities.

@SW-User If Donald Trump understands one thing, it's that bullying people that help you can be a pretty good idea; he does this to FOX News, too. Twitter can either take further action against the President (which will further damage their credibility before the right-wing public), roll over and do nothing, or reconsider their fact-checking policies (which benefits the President). Of those options, the only ones that are palatable benefit Trump.

@OfflineFriend I'm (luckily?) not under his jurisdiction, but I've known people who would go that far. I've seen people justifying the idea of injecting bleach or UV light in people, even claiming it's performed somewhere, lol.

And we've had that kind of "cult" like politics over here for like 20 years, and much before than that, 20 years of fascism as well. I know how the mind of the supporters of both those system think.
