It's becoming increasingly clear that the Democrat Party do NOT want Bernie Sanders to win. Wonder why?

CNN, more often known as the DCNN, or media arm of the Democrat party, have begun to attack him. We can always know the Democrat Party position by watching DCNN. It's becoming more and more obvious that Biden is the chosen one, and it doesn't seem to matter what voters want, to the Democrats. What matters is power, and keeping it.

In 2016, if Hillary had not stolen all of the Democrat party donations, with a secret agreement that she would "manage" those same donations, then funneling them all to herself, Bernie might have won the candidacy.

IMO, Bernie and other socialists were allowed to join the Democrat party to bring in their followers to a party that was dwindling due to their poor policies and poor management skills, but the leaders of the Democrat party decided that socialists would NEVER win, even if they had to engineer their downfall from within their own party.

What is your opinion?

Term limits for Congress are long over due.

If none of these people could stay longer than 8 years, it would end the string pulling and power grabbing, and just maybe - we'd go back to being represented by people who actually want to represent us.

@xixgun They usually wait till you're asleep, and then key your car.
xixgun · M
@4meAndyou My car is garaged, if they are keying it, then they broke a couple of other laws getting to it (and now I'm legal)
4meAndyou · F
@xixgun 😂 I have to park in an open parking lot, so I will never put a Trump 2020 sticker on my my car willingly...😂

The DNC screwed Sanders the last time and they will do it again. There are not enough far lefties to elect him and the DNC knows it.
4meAndyou · F
@jackson55 They are already trying to do it...watch the DCNN and their plans will be revealed. But...their behavior is screamingly unConstitutional.
jackson55 · M
@4meAndyou I don’t watch much TV much less CNN or NBC.
4meAndyou · F
@jackson55 I think I know why...😂 BUT they are attacking Bernie...it seems to be the official party position.

It doesn't surprise me in the least that Democrats don't want Sanders to lead the ticket. He is not and never has been a Democrat. He runs for office as an Independent, then tried for the nomination in the Democrat party in 2016, lost and reverted back to an Independent.

Imagine what old line Republicans would do if Hillary decided to run on the Republican ticket.

Bernie has always called himself a Socialist and has always been an unabashed fan of Soviet Russian Communists....except for when he tries to take advantage of the Democratic Party organization to benefit his run for the presidency.

Democrats have always had less than democratic methods of choosing candidates, yes the good old boy/girl network is alive and well. I think they long to go back to the days of brokered conventions.

All the primaries are costing way too much money and the battles end up scarring the candidates for the real election.
4meAndyou · F
@bowman81 Really good and valid points. I've heard bets placed on the brokered convention.
plungesponge · 41-45, M
Its pretty bizarre, I suspect because both Republicans and Democrats are owned by lobbyists and Bernie seems quite keen on taxing the wealthy heavily
4meAndyou · F
@plungesponge I have actually heard that recently...the big democrat money don't want socialism. Remember the Bernie Bro caught on video, unaware? He said that the big money people would find out what it was like to do hard physical labor when Bernie takes over.

@jveryoral Agreed. However, my point is that when the Democrat party sabotages him every time he gets close to winning, it is not a Constitutional process, and our election is being fixed...by the senior Democrats and their backers.

We ARE a Constitutional Republic, and we DO have protections in place for our nomination and elections process but the Dems are not following that path.

I would, personally, rather die than see a Communist like Bernie bring our country to its financial knees...but that is still our process...and we have to ask ourselves whether we are Americans, whether we really believe in our laws and our Constitution, and how far are we willing to go to defend them?

He wants too much change and the DNC is vested in the "good-o-boys" network. Just look at how they treat and respect Joe Biden (same-o-things)..

I plan to vote blue no matter who. Now is not the time for infighting.
4meAndyou · F
@SmartKat Perhaps you shouldn't say things like
Why should a person from Cousinf-ck, North Dakota have a vote that counts four times as much as a vote from NYC?
SmartKat · 56-60, F
@4meAndyou Then they shouldn’t say things like “Why should California run the country?”
4meAndyou · F
@SmartKat California? I don't think saying
Cousinf-ck, North Dakota
is even a tiny bit kind. But I'm quite sure that no one else from California would dream of saying anything so condescending as they rule all of us cousin-f-cks.
Politics is an ugly, underbelly, hardball game, and there are always going to be those who will be sacrificed, and that applies to both the Republicans and Democrats.
4meAndyou · F
@soar2newhighs I'm finding that out, for sure...but in playing their ugly ball, if the Constitution is trampled, I think we have a huge problem.
@4meAndyou I think we've come to a point where the desire for political power from both sides often trumps(no pun intended) the Constitution and it has been done by both parties.
Well.... Bernie is now on the glide path to the nomination

He will dominate Iowa, capture New Hampshire .... surely win South Carolina ... bringing him to Super Tuesday

Bernies ground game in those Tuesday states is 8X Sleepy Joe's. In many of those states, Joe has no ground game at all.

After that Tuesday, it is mathematically impossible for Joe to catch Bernie.

So ... all I can say is "Go Bernie"
4meAndyou · F
@questionWeaver I believe you are correct. And I think we both know why the Dems so desperately do NOT want Bernie to win...😉
Yayyy bernie :) hes my fav
I think you're basically right that Bernie isn't the guy most Democrats want as their candidate, and youve got a good point about management andleadeship problems.

@Khenpal1 Interesting little tidbits from the article, above: “The Soviet Union always treated foreign guests very, very well,” said Pomeranz said. “They always wanted to show off the best side of their country and that invariably included a big table with a lot of food.”

At times, though, Sanders’ team saw behind the curtain: The tapes showed people who appear to be waiting in line for food as well as the Soviet Union’s shabby housing stock. Inside one Russian’s apartment, Sanders addresses the poor conditions.

“It’s important to try to translate this,” he says. “In America, in general, the housing is better than in the Soviet Union.”

"Bruce Seifer, a top economic development aide to Sanders when he was mayor, said that 100 residents from Yaroslavl immigrated to Burlington after the trip and others visited.

"Over time, it had a positive impact on to the economy,” he said. “Businesses started doing exchanges between Burlington and Yaroslavl.”

"At the same time, they admit the poor choices of available food. Sanders says he was impressed by the beauty of the city and Soviet officials’ willingness “to acknowledge many of the problems that they had."

“They’re proud of the fact that their health care system is free,” he says, but concede that the medical technology is far behind that of the United States."
