@Budwick What specific programs has Trump enacted, that created that result? Don't say "cutting taxes," that was Mitch McConnell. The stock market had been going up since 2009; that would have continued under Clinton, and the recent COVID-19 crash would have happened under her, too.
The president gets credit or blame for the economy, but the effect they have is minor.
He rode in on a good economy, but since then Grocery prices have sky rocketed. Our national debt has hit a new high, a debt that he said he would eliminate ASAP. I'm OK, but our country isn't. He's demeaning America every chance he gets. He's out for himself and no one else.
They are indeed projections, but the projections were made in 1990 going forward
That's a false statement, as I've already described. They are then-current models run in 2012 and 2013, not earlier. If you can't understand that, you can't understand the answer to your new question. Anyone who keeps up with climate science knows what the models show, and why.
There is a new IPCC report being developed. Why don't you read that when it is issued and get back to me with your new concerns. I don't have time to explain 7-8 year old climate models to someone who doesn't even understand the simple concept of what the model output represents.
"That's a false statement, as I've already described."
No, It's NOT a false statement, and you haven't "described" anything, you have merely made unbacked assertions with no sensible argument.
"They are then-current models run in 2012 and 2013, not earlier."
Uh-huh... so the "current models" of 2012-2013 got the 2012-2013 temperatures woefully wrong, but somehow got the temperatures 23 years earlier right. Bass-ackwards, but par for you, Windy. 🤭 😄 😂
Oh, and as usual, you dodged the question you couldn't answer. 🤭

Worse .Health care and prescription costs are an abomination in this country..no one should have to struggle financially just to get the care and meds they need to live ...
Better off. Did very well under Obama too. Both presidents have their strengths and both have their weaknesses. Only a logical thinking person would acknowledge this. Does this include you. 🙂
@Zonuss My income improved after Trump was elected, my taxes went down as did my wife's. Gas prices also went down dramatically saving me a lot of money as I travel for work. More people have jobs and I do not have to look at Hilliary or the narcissistic Obumma.
No difference but my sense of decency has been assaulted.! Just fire the boy and make him return everything he has stolen in addition to the dignity of our country.
The whole of that comment is biased because you are a democrat....I've been hearing this non sense for three years...but you are entitled to your opinion...@Pfuzylogic
@Platinum The light outside of the basket can be blinding. I will enjoy the drama in the Senate. Hopefully McConnell isn’t such a big alligator in the swamp that he interferes with justice.
Little boy....my question was " are you better off or worse under trump " me adding financially was not the question...now go away you started with the name calling and now you are throwing your dummy out of your pram...now apologise and we can move on...@Pherick

Trump is causing much trouble for Canada. Particularly in the financial realm. Our elderly and crippled are suffering more than ever now. We should cut off all dealings with the USA and deal strictly with only the commonwealth. All commerce between US and Canada can be handled through them.
I am not American but I never really liked Trump. Most of my American friends didn't like him either. The way he delt with Iran and Mexico and him bullying Greta was immature. I planned to move to America initially but thanks to Trump, I changed the decision.
Better on paper, at least temporarily. But looking at a longer time frame, I am almost certain to be worse off given his trade wars and ballooning deficits.
@Platinum Obama was handicapped by the effects of the Bush/Republican Recession. Doing that again will NOT be a good thing for anyone. The deficit needs to decrease for us to have a healthy, sustainable economy. I have been respectful--it is delusional thinking to believe that having the equivalent of the worst recession since the Depression again in the next five years would be a good thing.
@windinhishair telling someone they are delusional when you have read their comment wrong, is an insult....can't you understand, the ND always goes up, it's a fact....let's leave it there
@Platinum It is thinking like that, that keeps it going up. When you run a surplus and control your interest payments on the debt, it can go down. We've had a surplus during my lifetime, just 20 years ago, and should be running one now, but we chose as a nation to borrow money we don't have to give to the wealthy. That isn't a good thing for many, many reasons. But yes, let's leave it there. Enjoy your evening.
Well....for the past two years, I have been getting about $200 more a month in my paycheck.....my business is up for 2 years in a row.....so, it's difficult to say that I'm not better off for this current administration's efforts. I'm not rich but it has been better. I'm not a fan of the third grader with a phone, but.....
@MizzBella neither of which have anything to do with Anything Trump has done or not done.. your wage going up isn't because of him. And your nice tax return likely is a result of your divorce in some form.
Who here wouldn't be better off financially 3 years later. Annual raises and cost of living increases will do that. I'm better off but it had nothing to do with the current POTUS.
@Platinum the feeling is mutual and is reinforced by you calling me a liar. I made every dime I have and who is or isn't president had nothing to do with that. You're trying to fight here but there really isn't a fight to be had.
Much Better under TRUMP than with Obama... So glad to see that Biden will be loosing against him in the up coming election with all his hidden skeletons that will be exposed to the public..
no better. civil servant with no raise during his term.
mortgage just went down - mainly because of an insurance decrease - and while I'm sure he'll take credit for not having a hurricane strike directly where I live - I think it was other factors :)
I don’t work and my husband hasn’t had a raise in over 5 years but that is on his boss and the company he works for. Last time he got a raise it was decent but still. I don’t keep up with how the presidents impact the economy on a larger scale. 😬
Depends upon how you are grading. My 401k is doing fantastic since Trump took office, my income has remained stable, my lack of respect for my fellow man has continued to decline (not really because of Trump but because of people arguing) so my mental health has probably declined a bit.
Better off, but I'd be in exactly the same position if Hillary had won. Trump didn't do jack shit to grow the stock market. Anybody could have sat back and allowed the growth that began under Obama in 2009 to continue. And the COVID-19 crash would also have happened regardless of who was in charge.
Even if you could prove to me that we will be worse off financially under Biden, I don't vote based on selfish reasons. Trump supporters clearly don't either. Plenty of them voted for him even though they would have been better off under a Democratic administration, but other factors also contributed to their decision.
