@booboo How is that 401K doing?
booboo · M
@windinhishair it's doing okay... how about yours?
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@booboo Yeah, right. Mine will be doing better once we put a real president in office who looks at something beyond his first (and in Trump's case only) term in office.

You have the best president ....how can you think another president who you don't know who will win, be better for your finances....explain how you see into the future...you know trump will get another term ...don't yer@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum Any president would be better than the one in there now. The economy will perform better in the long run without so much debt. Obama was able to reduce the deficit by 2/3 during his terms, from a high of $1.413 trillion resulting from the Bush/Republican Recession, to $462 billion. Trump's irresponsible tax cut more than doubled that in his first two years in office, and the nation was on track for a deficit approaching the worst of the last recession. Of course, that deficit is now toast, and we will see an annual deficit of at least $3.5 trillion this year. That deficit will handcuff us moving forward. We'll need to raise taxes to at least start to bring that under control. But as Trump said when asked by one of his advisors how he could running huge deficits until well past his term(s), he replied "Why the fuck should I care? I won't be president then."
No way Trump gets elected with 40% support, unless he is able to cheat and steal the election. So we shall see.

So you blame trump for the virus....your figures are wrong....deficit goes up with every president...always does always will...he will win another term as most Americans realize they are better off....@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum You're confusing the debt (cumulative) with the deficit (annual). My figures are correct. You can check the GAO website or any credible source.
If Trump can take credit for the good economy that he inherited, he can take the blame for what happens on his watch. Can't have it just one way. Much of the improved economy was a sugar high from the billionaire tax cut. It was already wearing off and economists were already predicting a recession this year. Coronavirus has hastened it.
Trump can't win another term with support that low. And people are abandoning him as they see their loved ones die as a result of Trump's feckless and irresponsible. response to the virus. He is in way over his head, and it is plainly obvious now, even to his cultists.

@windinhishair you probably said he could not win last time...so you ain't a good judge.....when he became president the economy was good and trump still improved it, employment rose to its highest ever...but democrats still cannot acknowledge these facts...you will never change....in England we vote for different parties, depending who the leader is and if we think their policies are good...you just vote one party all your life however good or bad they are....you have had some really bad presidents but still defend them....we shall see in November , who wins...
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum I did not think he would win last time, though I was telling people in the spring it could happen, and he had a 33% chance the day of the election. Still, it took a fluke for it to occur, and his support is even less now than then.
Employment improved but was not the best ever. We’ve had many times when it was higher, and unemployment was lower. The economy improved due to the tax cut but we were/are heading into recession, now that the temporary sugar high has worn off. This was already happening prior to Coronavirus.
I always vote for the person running, and always vote for multiple parties, including for the presidency. I’ve voted for great Republicans and Democrats and other, minor parties. Trump has been an unmitigated disaster. He won’t win in November.

@windinhishair I say he will, so you will have to wait, your record of being right, ain't good...lol...he has not been a disaster ...less wars than Obama and he is keeping most of the evil leaders quiet...that's a fact...

@windinhishair
A 33% chance on the day of the election? Tell the NY Times... the Paper of Record seems to have missed that. 🤭

@Thinkerbell I follow Nate Silver’s projections on the 538 website which look at all the polls, not only single polls. The NYT had it at 20% the morning of the election, before any votes were counted, which isn’t that different. It took a fluke of votes in three states to make it happen, and it is extremely unlikely to occur again.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum He was a disaster on Day 1 and has continued to be. He’s pissed off almost every ally the US had and embraced the evil leaders he emulates. Only after he is gone can the US begin the repair process, which will be long and difficult.
Platinum · M
Everything you said was rubbish...but you live in your world and I'll live in the real world....been nice chatting@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum I'll live in the factual world, and you can continue to live in the land of make-believe. Enjoy.
Platinum · M
Naw, losers keep dreaming and we can catch up in November ...I will send you some tissues@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum Won't need them when Trump loses. Do you have your guns ready for the violence Trump will call for after the Biggest Loser loses?
Platinum · M
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum I'll take that as a YES. Several of your SW brethren have already promised violence when he loses. We'll have to see if you join them when you are called to action.
Platinum · M
I'm English I can't reach....there will be no violence trump will win...goodnight@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum He's going to need you to supplement his shrinking base. Better get plane tickets for November 4. Have a good evening, and be safe.
Platinum · M
@windinhishair you said the same thing in 2016 and was wrong...you be safe
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum You didn't know me in 2016, so you have no idea what I said. You are wrong.
Platinum · M
So you voted trump@windinhishair
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Platinum You'll never know. And you are wrong about what I was saying about the election prior to November.
