Are newspapers and magazines becoming obsolete?

exexec · 61-69, C
I subscribe to two newspapers, and I ask myself "why" on a regular basis. Unfortuantely, it's the only way to get local news in a small town.
@exexec I used to love my daily newspaper. They are a good source for local news.
Yes, as is reading critically & well, thinking clearly...engagement has been/is being subverted by a quick cut culture of everything needing to be so short that we are effectively training children/ourselves to have essentially zero ability to focus/concentrate (unless it is an online game!). Will people be able to read novels and experience that richness? Master anything which requires real time (playingban instrument, etc.)? Complete PhD's and do research?

Time to rebrand our species...

No. Just the content. The best ones will survive. 🙂
