Are newspapers and magazines becoming obsolete?

Yes, as is reading critically & well, thinking clearly...engagement has been/is being subverted by a quick cut culture of everything needing to be so short that we are effectively training children/ourselves to have essentially zero ability to focus/concentrate (unless it is an online game!). Will people be able to read novels and experience that richness? Master anything which requires real time (playingban instrument, etc.)? Complete PhD's and do research?

Time to rebrand our species...
