Treaty Between the United States of America and Ukraine Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters with Annex, signed at Kiev on July 22, 1998. I transmit also, for the information of the Senate, an exchange of notes which was signed on September 30, 1999, which provides for its provisional application, as well as the report of the Department of State with respect to the Treaty. The Treaty is one of a series of modern mutual legal assistance treaties being negotiated by the United States in order to counter criminal activities more effectively. The Treaty should be an effective tool to assist in the prosecution of a wide variety of crimes, including drug trafficking offenses. The Treaty is self-executing. It provides for a broad range of cooperation in criminal matters. Mutual assistance available under the Treaty includes: taking of testimony or statements of persons; providing documents, records, and articles of evidence; serving documents; locating or identifying persons; transferring persons in custody for testimony or other purposes; executing requests for searches and seizures; assisting in proceedings related to restraint, confiscation, forfeiture of assets, restitution, and collection of fines; and any other form of assistance not prohibited by the laws of the requested state. I recommend that the Senate give early and favorable consideration to the Treaty and give its advice and consent to ratification.

There’s not one single thing that T-bag has done that, on its own, without the context of everything else he’s done, stands out as something that would compel us to throw him in jail.
This most recent is simply something that is consistent with the behavior of someone who doesn’t understand his obligations to the people who elected him nor the responsibilities of the office he holds.
He believes that “executive privilege “ means that he is above the law and that anyone who dare question him is a traitor.
This latest controversy is mere confirmation that he is unsuited for the office.
But the way it’s being handled confirms that the Democratic Leadership is too dumb and disorganized to effectively challenge him. It also demonstrates how the Republicans truly don’t give a shit about what’s good for the country.

I think asking for oppo research on a potential political opponent on an official state phone call is a big deal. The President's job is to serve the country in those exchanges.

on the contrary. it's the same thing as 2016. The habitual liar is in your face with his arrogance. He knows the idiots that believe may be enough to keep him out of jail. there are people in prison from the last time but those who idolize Trump believe his lies and that any bad print it's fake. It's against the law to incorporate foreign governments to help influence America's voting process. Biden's son was investigated already. They refused to investigate again because there's nothing to investigate but Trump cut hundreds of millions in aid 200 million in military aide which they need to fend off the Russians. Oh that's right him and Putin are in the same bed. The president is a compulsive liar and suffered from a narcissistic personality disorder.. He'll be lucky to sit long enough to lose the next election. Which he will unless he's got this collusion perfected...
