Perhaps. However who else is out there advocating for a citizens right to own a firearm? The NRA is imperfect however what else will protect our citizens from losing the right to have firearms if they choose whether for protection, hunting, target shooting, sport or otherwise? @MarkPaul

Kids being killed and grieving parents to this day really do exist and the mass shooters barely had the intelligence to operate their own lives let alone orchestrate a disguise-event to eliminate gun ownership. And, besides... gun ownership still exists.

The NRA is largely behind most of these conspiracies because it's in the benefit of the gun industry sales. Individual gun owners are incidental tools to their real mission.
