After two+ years there is still no parliamentary agreement on what the exit is... why shouldn’t the people have a say if the politicians can’t agree on a brexit stratedy...

@Nyloncapes it is a means of splitting a vote, an attempt at rigging it to give remainers a bigger chance of winning.
Nyloncapes · 61-69, M
@PikachuTrainer yes we know that, and they think by calling it a people's vote, they think we don't know it is just another referendum for the remainers, but they won't use them words, so they come up with people's vote

@PikachuTrainer I see its personal for you reference to “we”. I’m not calling you stupid BTW.
May went to the people in may 2017 in a miscalculation and got into bed with the DUP. Too many voices and chaos and not all anti brexit. Lay the cards on the table and if your politicians can’t decide let the people decide...

Its like free speech, they approve of free speech only if they agree with you, if they disagree with you, they will claim you are a racist

A second one is total bullshit
PikachuTrainer · 26-30, M
@Pikachu according to a lot of polls I've seen, the majority of people don't want a second referendum and just want politicians to get on with it, this is supported by people's attitudes politically and why the Brexit Party is likely to win at the EU elections.

I am no longer voting as the uk has proved as far as I am concerned that it is no longer democratic and have lost all trust in politicians .
PikachuTrainer · 26-30, M
@Rhodesianman not all British politicians are liars, some are still standing to principle, and wanting to implement the people's wishes, not voting however will do far more damage to UK politics as a whole, as it will mean the politicians we need to get rid of will be uncontested.
Rhodesianman · 56-60, M
@PikachuTrainer I will let the younger generation worry about it ,I just don't need the stress and sick of listening to all their lies ..
PikachuTrainer · 26-30, M
@Rhodesianman then those who are a threat to British democracy will win and remain a threat.

Exactly. The first referendum was in 1970 something. Overwhelmingly we stayed in Europe. The younger people then have changed their minds!
