Theresa May celebrates Brexit success!

This time her deal was defeated in Parliament by *only* 149 and not 230. Its an improvement. 😆#takebackcontrol.

Don’t worry. The less your government interferes with the process the better off you will be. @Harriet03
Except a "hard Brexit" with no agreement with the EU could crash the British economy. And that could drag Europe and the rest of the world down, too.
@jackjjackson I meant that different parts of the country had different views. It's not like Brexit was a landslide. Brexit lost in Scotland, so one possibility is that they will declare independence and rejoin the EU as their own country. And that will be a big deal. There hasn't been any border at all between England and Scotland for a long time.

Why isn’t that OK. You are all grown ups. @LeopoldBloom
@jackjjackson I have my own opinion, but since I don't live there, i have no say in the matter. My father's parents were born in London but I don't consider myself English.

I am concerned as I don't want people to be killed or for the UK economy to collapse as that will have effects outside the country.

In general, I don't support irredentism. It's usually a bad idea. I'm reading The Federalist Papers and it makes a good argument for a large, unified political unit under a strong federal government. The EU is a step in that direction, and the UK voting on a slim margin to leave without a coherent plan, just because a bunch of English bumpkins think there are too many Poles in the country, isn't going to work out well for them.

Well, time to lie down and wait for the void to take you. Good luck!

What happens now?

@suzie1960 On the first point we agree. On the second point, leave means leave is not a mandate for a no deal Brexit. Farage and Gove were talking about the Norway model but everyone forgets that now.

There were no box to check that read “let the government f**k it up.” @Burnley123

I doubt they'd want a deal like Norway. They were going on about taking back control of our borders but Norway is in the Schengen zone - no border control. ;)

I'd like to know what Mrs May has been putting down her throat whilst in Brussels last night. Poor lass needs some Glycerine, Lemon and Honey.

Let me be the first to give her this hat -
